Hay muchas cosas que desconozco sobre el mundo de tatuaje y que me gustaría aprender y a su vez compartir lo aprendido en la comunidad, por eso estaré desarrollando algunos temas organizados en la columna “learn about ink” y hoy daré inicio con algunas curiosidades sobre el tatuaje, acompáñame.

3._Tatuajes invisibles: En la actualidad existen tatuajes que se pueden ver si se activan con luz ultravioleta, es usado sobre tintas de colores y los tatuajes se ven con un efecto neón o brillante, casualmente estoy viendo una serie de televisión que se llama punto ciego Blindspot donde su protagonista tiene su cuerpo lleno de tatuajes y la mitad de ellos son invisibles, pronto haré una reseña sobre esta serie y la incluiré en la comunidad de Tattoo World.

4._Los veganos se pueden tatuar: Existen muchos tipos de tintas tanto sintéticos como de origen vegetal que suelen ser seguros para la salud y permanente, de hecho, los primeros tatuajes fueron origen vegetal.

Las personas alérgicas, que sufran sinusitis, rinitis o asma, pueden presentar reacciones a tatuarse con tintas sintéticas, por eso siempre se recomienda hablar con el tatuador antes de cualquier sesión y ponerse de acuerdo con el material y tipo de tinta a usar.

5._Existe la Barbie tatuada y la tatuadora: Esta es una sorpresa para mí, en el año 1998 la empresa Mattel saco al mercado la Barbie Butterfly Art que lucia como atuendo una traje de baño en dos piezas y una falda corta donde se le puede ver en el abdomen una mariposa tatuada y también está la Barbie Totally Tattoos que salió a la venta en el año 2009 esta vez la muñeca no tiene tatuajes permanentes, pero si tiene una variedad de etiquetas que hacen la simulación de tatuaje que se aplican con su máquina y tiene muchos diseños. Ambas muñecas salieron del mercado por presión de los medios que decían que era una mala influencia para los niños.
