Hello tattoo lovers! I hope you all are well, It's a pleasure to be today presenting you this tattoo that I carry with me which is my favorite one. It is the faceless character from the Studio Ghibli movie "Spirited Away" I had it done as a baby because I thought it was more Cute or Kawai as the anime lovers say.
At the time I had it done, I was full excited because I had it set aside waiting for the moment to have it done, I looked for a person who had a good reference with this type of tattoos, I made an appointment and well I arrived to the place accompanied by my best friend, after finishing the tattoo he had a surprise, he had chosen to make us a tattoo of a small rose on the wrist with a small moon, he told me that this was a detail that we both will always carry, a small rose that will not wither so I agreed.
Talking a little bit about the character Sin Cara from Chihiro's Journey.
The meaning of this character can be interpreted in many ways, in the movie he is a creature that at the beginning is somewhat shy and lonely, but when he meets little Chihiro he starts to imitate the behavior of people, faceless represents greed and acceptance and approval by others.
We can also interpret this character as an allegory of human nature with the temptation to be carried away by material desires, and as this being acquires more wealth and power the more he gets out of control and becomes a very dangerous being.
Another meaning is that this faceless character is the reflection of loneliness and the need for human connection, so it is seen in the film as he tries to get the attention of Chihiro and in a clumsy and desperate way makes mistakes and behaves inappropriately.
The truth is that the meanings may vary according to the individual interpretation of each viewer. The creator of these characters Hayao Miyazaki usually creates complex and symbolic characters making each person find the understanding of each of them.
In particular this character reminds me that each person has a story to tell and a unique journey to travel, his empty mask invites us to explore our inner self and find the essence of who we are, it is an expression of my own story and personality I have combined it with a lotus flower that symbolizes transformation. This is the tattoo that I love the most, I have it on the side of my back, I like to know that I will carry it forever on my skin.
¡Hola amantes de los tatuajes! Espero que todos estén bien, Es un placer estar hoy presentándoles este tatuajes que llevo conmigo que es mi preferido. Se trata del personaje sin cara de la película de Studio ghibli "Viaje de Chihiro" lo mandé hacer bebe porque me pareció más Cute o Kawai como dicen los amantes del animé.
En el momento en que me lo realicé, estaba full emocionada porque lo tenía apartado esperando el momento de realizarmelo , busque a una persona que tenía buena referencia con este tipos de tatuajes, hice una cita y bueno me llegué al lugar acompañada de mi mejor amigo, luego de terminar el tatoo el tenía una sorpresa, había elegido hacernos tatoo de una pequeña rosa en la muñeca con una pequeñaña luna, me dijo que eso era un detalle que ambos llevaremos siempre, una pequeña rosa que no se marchitara así que accedí.
Hablando un poco del personaje Sin Cara del viaje de chihiro.
El significado de este personaje puede interpretarse de muchas maneras, en la película es una criatura que al inicio es algo tímida y solitaria, pero al encontrarse a la pequeña Chihiro empieza a imitar el comportamiento de las personas, sin cara representa la codicia y la aceptación y aprobación por parte de los demás.
También podemos interpretar a este personaje como una alegoría de la naturaleza humana con la tentación de dejarse llevar por los deseos materiales, y a medida que esté ser va adquiriendo más riqueza y poder más se va descontrolando y convirtiéndose en un ser muy peligroso.
Otro significado es que este personaje sin caras es el reflejo de la soledad y la necesidad de conexión humana, por eso se ve en la película como trata de llamar la atencion de chihiro y de una manera torpe y desesperada comete errores y se comporta de una manera inapropiada.
La verdad es que los significados pueden variar según la interpretación individual de cada espectador. El creador de estos personajes Hayao Miyazaki suele crear personajes complejos y simbólicos haciendo que cada persona encuentre la comprensión de cada uno de ellos.
En particular este personaje me recuerda que cada persona tiene una historia que contar y un viaje único por recorrer, su máscara vacía invita a explorar nuestro interior y a encontar la esencia de lo que somos, es una expresión de mi propia historia y personalidad lo he combine con una flor de loto que simboliza la transformación. Este es el tatuaje que más amo lo tengo en un costado de mi espalda me gusta saber que lo llevaré por siempre en mi piel.
