I awoke this morning at 7 a.m. and let Hawthorne out, then had a cup of tea with my wife. I did a little bookkeeping work to figure my profits from this past week of selling books, then I had breakfast. After breakfast, I played with Hawthorne a little, then Theresa, Hawthorne, and I drove into town to buy water and exchange a propane tank. When we returned home, we dropped in on my parents and I played with Hawthorne some more. I took a few minutes to ensure all my books were ready for selling today, then I ate lunch, and drove to Malakoff, Texas to join 10 other authors in a local book fair at an independent book store. After selling books and hanging out with fellow authors, I drove home and played with Hawthorne then checked in on my parents and had dinner with my wife. After dinner, I helped my wife pull weeds in the garden and played with Hawthorne. My wife and I played cards with my parents in the evening, then we came home and I played with Hawthorne in the yard for a half an hour.
