Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

Hey guys.. Mingalar par မင်္ဂလာပါ..
For this week social media challenge, I'd like to write about a battle that I included a newly rented card War Chaang, a natural card with both 1 range and 2 melee attack. At the cost of 7 mana, you'll get 3 speed and 9 health with Retaliate ability which attack back the melee attacker when it got hit. With that ability, you can place at the end of the line to have a chance to attack sneakers back. I rented in because it has 2 types of attacks and high mana cost cards become useful in Sliver League where you usually have high mana cost battles.

The battle was against Fire splinter with the mana cap being 52. There were 2 rules, Fog of War and Holy Protection. Fog of War exclude Sneak and Snipe abilities. War Chaang may not be placed at the end of the line. Holy Protection provides divine shield to all monsters that 1st hits will not be counted. Large mana cap and Divine Shield for all monsters, it is going to be a long battle.

_{All of my cards can attack from their respective position. But since War Chaang has only 1 range attack, no damage was done to the enemy Living Lava. Deep Lurker missed the target fast flying Spark Pixie. My Diemondshark lost all shields.}

_{Both Diemondshark and Living Lava were knocked out in the 2nd round. Once again Deeplurker missed the target.}

_{Flying Squid was easily knocked out in the 3rd round and War Chaang came to the 1st place. For the 3rd time in a row, Deeplurker missed the target.}

_{War Chaang was knocked out before Deeplurker can attack. Now it got to the 1st place and did not have to worry about another missing attack.}

_{Deeplurker didn't live long and was knocked out, Djinn Oshannus came to the 1st place. Although enemy had numerical advantage, the formation was broken and only weak range units left.}

_{Slowly taking out one by one.}

_{Enemy team still managed to knock out Djinn Oshannus but it was too late.}

_{It took 10 rounds to settle the battle.}

Did my Strategy Work?
I think my strategy didn't work at the tactical level, but it worked with the whole plan for having high mana cost monsters. Having high mana cost monsters meant I can field stronger units and out weight the opponent.
