First thoughts about card

seem to be useful if in a melee only match up or if in a low mana battle, as has a decent health pool at 5 (level 1) for 4 mana, attack and speed is on the low side at 1 each but if the ruleset is Reversed speed, it will attack the fastest.

Battle rules

SymbolRule Effect
All Monsters have the Opportunity ability.

Total Mana : 46
Usable elements : Life, Death and Dragon

As soon as I saw this rule set and available elements along with the opponent's past game history, I was like I need to play the summoner with -1 to range attacks as I predicted that they would use range units for this match.

Team Composition

Position: Summoner

Quix the Devious was chosen as he reduces both range damage and speed of the opponent's team by 1 and in the "Equal Opportunity" rule set having higher speed helps as your units will aim for those with a lower health pool and faster units will attack first allowing you to remove some of the opposing team's units early might help cripple their DPS.

Position: Main Tank

Cursed Windeku was chosen as the main tank due to its high health pool and and thorns ability making those that target it take 2 melee damage when they attack it with a melee attacks.

As the battle drags on its health should be the lowest at one point due to needing to tank the front units attack making its thorn ability affect more units if they are melee attack based.

Position: SubTank/Melee damage

The star of the challenge being placed in the second position is it having 6 health and at other times where there is no Equal Opportunity ruleset, its reach ability would allow it to attack from the 2nd place even though its a melee unit

Position: Magic damage

With Equal Opportunity ruleset being in play having some magic damage wont hurt as it bypasses armor to direct health damage to counter this, this card also has the void armor ability which forces the damage to hit the armor before affecting its health pool which is useful if the opponent uses magic damage

Position: Range Damage

Dhampir Stalker was chosen due to its high damage value at 3 damage and it can not miss its attacks as it has the true aim ability which makes its attack always hit even if the opponent plays flying or unit that can dodge it will help take them down

Position: Melee Damage

Slient Sha-vi was chosen for its high speed value and high damage values with a 4 speed and 3 damage it will probably be one of the first few to attack allowing it to remove some of the enemies unit will allow my own units to stay alive longer.

Position: Melee Damage

Dessert Dragon was chosen for its high damage value and its trample ability as with the Equal Opportunity ruleset, trample really shine since it targets the lowest health unit to attack unless there is a taunt unit and since trample trigger when the unit is killed if Dessert Dragon with opportunity kills one unit it can bring its 4 melee damage to hit another unit and this may lead to a chaining of attack that might kill the whole team if lucky.

Now on to the Battle

Round 1

As with my prediction the opponent used a team with quite a few range units and if I did not play my dragon summoner with minus 1 range damage i might have taken quite a heavy beating as their damage would have been higher especially that unit with 3 range damage and blast.

unfortunately they had a taunt tank reducing the effectiveness of the Equal Opportunity rule set for my team and they also do have double tank heals which is going to be annoying.

Round 2

Their shieldbearer would not be able to hold on for much longer as my team does out damage their healing as most of the units i chosen for this battle have pretty high damage values.

opps their prismologist has been targeting my Dhampir Stalker causing its blast damage to hit more targets as its in the center of the team affect both my Djinn Muirat and Slient Sha-vi but thankfully they are not very squishy units and that the damage of the prismologist was affected by my summoner

Round 3

Cleaning up their remaining units as now that their Cornealus has been pushed to the front it is unable to attack anymore as its a range attack making it a sitting duck and due to its regeneration it would not be targeted by the rest of the team as its would have the highest health available, allowing my team to pick off the backline easily

Round 4

The prismologist is still hurting my units but its days are numbered as its the only remaining unit that card do damage to my team while my team has 4 damage dealers left.

Round 5

The final round, their lineup is basically finished once the prismologist is killed as Cornealus is unable to attack and is just regenerating health every turn, this battle ends in my favor and allowed me to win as they were unable to kill enough of my damage dealers.

Strategy Talk

This team was built around the Equal Opportunity ruleset and without the ruleset this team would not have really worked as some units would not have able to deal any damage given their positions.

Having the minus 1 to range damage and speed were the game changer as it allowed me to remove their units before they could remove mine plus if they had extra damage my units would have all be blasted away as the blast damage would have been higher.

For this match the shadow snitch did not manage to reach its full potential as a sub-tank as it was not even hit once through out the whole battle but it did get some clean hits in to damage the enemy's team thou.

Had to try a few times to get Shadow snitch to work as most team lineup I went against had counters for him.

will try the shadow snitch in lower mana matches in the future as it seem that that is were it will shine at.

Thanks for the battle challenge curation team
