You could wonder what my anticipation and my expectations are. The hope of everyone is tied to whatever he or she has invested something in. We invest in many things as we have the conviction that it will favour us. Some investments are in the business of trading with selling and buying. Still some of us like me invest our energy and time at the work which we are employed in expecting our salary at the end of every month (in whatever format our payroll takes). Expectations and anticipation are the beautiful things that make working interesting.
Looking At The Cloud
Our farming season this year has an unusual trend. We had rain as we had expected. Then everyone who is interested in investing in farming went to the farm. People invested their money, energy and time in preparing and planting their crops.
Then suddenly, the rain ceased. It ceased for quite a longer time than we expected. Things were not going to go well again with the crops. Most of the maize crops which were supposed to have yielded that season died off. There was a bad turn over this year.
Now we are looking at the cloud and trusting that God will give us the rain again. We saw the sign that it will rain again in the middle of August. After that, the dryness seems to be setting in again. This is not so good. That is why we are seriously anticipating the rain.
