these photos were taken last june from arawali beach in southern maharashtra, india. normally my wife and i are in norway at that time but because of covid our return was delayed from april to july. winters in that area are mostly cloudless but june is monsoon season. the june sky is pretty much totally overcast and there is seldom a break in the rain. but when there is the clouds can be a sight to behold the beach faces west so one particularly lucky evening we saw this memorable sunset. worth waiting for
