It was pretty exciting this morning to click that CLAIM button to reach the 200k mark. This feels like an amazing achievement and I even did not plan for it initially. I know those who delegated early got better rewards, but now it feels like it's better late than never.
This now puts me at the 31st position in Top Contributors Category, but it's still just 0.706 % of the total no of tokens - so I guess, it's still negligible.
This morning there was a reminder from @acidyo in this post to set our referral, as we won't be able to "set a referrer" any longer, after the the starter sale begins. But there is a catch, the referral account must have registered before us - that's a bit hard isn't it ? Finding someone who joined before July 2017 (that is when I joined) and still active and interested in this game!! And more ever we can't change the referrer after setting it. So who do I set as referral ? @acidyo I set you as my referral - I believe, that's in the best interest for the game and the Eco-system.
It will need you to login to Hive Keychain and it was a sweet surprise to discover the renovated UI in the latest version. If you don't know, then this is developed by our own @stoodkev and quite safe, I have been a big fan of it's flawless swap.
Seems, the latest version is not showing up the icons at the bottom properly. I will leave a comment in their latest release post to look into this.
If you haven't set your referrer, then you can click the Referral Program link which can be found on click of your account icon. As per the latest post, our referral link can earn us a niche amount as well, even may be in other crypto like ETH or BNB.
We have some solutions planned where if people purchase a starter pack with ETH or BNB through their networks, we'll withhold their packs until they generate a hive account they link towards their account using hive keychain.
Feels like a teaser to run a paid promo on Twitter 😜, and even reward them some hive/zing. Do they use our referral link and register before buying to make us the beneficiary ? I guess, we will soon hear more on this. At least if any of you are involved with this game and will buy the starter packs, then please use my referral link and set me as Referrer.
