Three weeks ago, I shared about the new activity that got added to my routine - claiming ZING rewards on my waking hours and whenever I can during the day. It's just good claiming doesn't cost a penny because it has become sort of an addiction which I believe is the same thing for those who are accumulating the token.
Or perhaps it's just me?
Hmmm... I highly doubt about that especially now that there are daily bonus rewards for the whole month of December intended to those who are regularly claiming their ZING. No one wants to miss out on that or would you? Speaking of which, I just claimed my day 2 bonuses so yay!
The support over the Holozing project is quite astounding as we can see from the staked ZING and the 3.46+ million delegated HP to zingtoken which according to the stats & financial report is helping the account earn around 750 HP daily in curation rewards which is then used to aid the costs (server and stuff). Whilst that is not enough, at least it helps. And to fast track the game development, there will be a starter pack sale. As to when, there were no details about that yet but the teaser is definitely adding to people's excitement. You can read more about it on Acid's post.
It's so nice to see the level of transparency in the financials and other related things which makes the project more appealing.
Anyhow, going back to my claimed drops, it has now surpassed 3k ZING from just about 1.2k 23 days ago which means I earned over 1,900+ ZING in rewards during the period. At the time of this writing, I'm #209 amongst 999 people on the contributor's list.
People at the top have earned hundreds of thousands of ZING from delegating loads of HP. I even noticed that the person on the first rank is also buying ZING from the market despite already having earned 695k+. I'm now feeling some FOMO and getting tempted to delegate more but decided not to be too greedy... but who knows, I may change my mind any second now and go for it, lol!
The APR for all 4 ways of earning (Staking ZING, HP Delegation, Liquidity Pool, and POSH Balance) dropped significantly which was expected considering that more are being staked, people adding to their delegated HP, and providing liquidity. Even so, the APRs are still attractive considering they are almost risk-free except for the Liquidity Pool that carries the Impermanent Loss risk.
Meanwhile, to test things out, I initiated the unstaking of 200 ZING and learned that it takes 4 weeks for it to complete, 50 gets released each week. Guess I was just curious, lol!
Currently, there are 10.94+ million ZING in circulating supply and 8.74+ million in total staked. It shows that most people are taking advantage of the staking rewards to keep accumulating while the game is yet to launch.
I like the fact that updates are being shared in the community and getting people involved or contributing by asking their thoughts on certain things. That surely makes them feel valued, fuels eagerness or anticipation and continually builds up the excitement.
