Male Ocean Healer in Volleyball Uniform (Fanart)

Holo Everyone!

I am back with another HoloZing fanart. Last week I drew "Female Light Healer in Volleyball Uniform" Since I already completed the three female healers it is time to draw their male counterparts. I started this volleyball series fanart with the female ocean healer, followed by Forest, and then the most recent is the light healer.

I started this series with the female ocean healer so I am also going to start their male counterparts with the male ocean healer. As of the moment, I am already thinking of what I am going to draw next when I complete the male healer. But for now, below is the final of the male ocean healer in a volleyball uniform.

Drawing process

Before I started this drawing I tried to use another color in outlining but it just didn't work out, yellow is unnoticeable, red is too intense, and green is not ok so I just drew an outline using the usual blue that I use.

I am already accustomed to coloring my drawings with the bucket tool. So, in this drawing, I still use the bucket tool to color the face and the hair of the character.

The same with the next sections which are the collar, the torso, the arms, and the logo, I used the bucket tool to color them. Coloring my drawing this way makes it a little easier for me to see what is lacking so that I can adjust accordingly.

In this step, I was not able to close a gap before coloring with a bucket good thing I saw and closed it. Of course, after coloring with the bucket tool I started putting shadows and highlights on the character (starting from the top section which is the hair).

Shadowing and highlighting are still the most time-consuming for me. I think it took me a significant amount of time before I finished putting highlight and shadow to the hair and the t-shirt. And next to shadowing and highlighting is drawing the eyes. Drawing the eyes is one of the most crucial in every drawing, if you don't get it right the drawing will become less desirable.

Final drawing

I am still not able to make my own background, so, to finish this drawing, I still used the Z Holozing logo as my background.
