Today I wanted to perform a prank, which is hovering in my head for days, because I am delighted to see the beautiful works that have made the companions who are dedicated to jewelry and goldsmithing, very delicate and laborious pieces. In my eagerness to learn new things, I dared to make a set of accessories, using jean fabric, because they are simple pieces, but their elaboration was somewhat difficult, because I do not have the right tools for this craft, but I achieved the goal, which is the important thing. Next I will tell you what materials I used and how was the step by step.

Materials.

✓ 4 upholstery snaps.
✓ Suitcase type terminals for bracelets.
✓ Heart-shaped charms.
✓ Fashion jewelry stones in two sizes and connectors.
✓ Silicone gun and bar.
✓ Scissors, thread and needle.
✓ Snap fasteners.
✓ Eyebrow tweezers.

Step by step.

The first thing I did, was to take the measurement of the size of the upholstery snaps to cut some jean fabric circles, bigger than the snaps to then cover them, using thread and needle. Cut and glue, other circles of fabric to cover the back of the lined pieces.

Next I proceeded to join a small jean brooch with a large one, I did this using a gold-colored costume jewelry stone as a connector. Then I decorated the center of the big jean piece with stones.

Using an eyebrow tweezers, I opened the hoop of a heart charm and placed it in the ring of the snap brooch. I then hot glued the brooch onto the edge of the small jean piece with hot silicone.

This way I made a pair of simple, casual but very pretty earrings.

Now, it's time to make a bracelet to match the earrings. For this I use the part of the jean pants that has double stitching.

I cut a piece of 19 centimeters long, additional 1 centimeter on each side of the seam. Then I glue with hot silicone the centimeters of fabric to the inside, forming a uniform piece.

I place on the ends of the jean strip two gold colored suitcase terminals and finished by decorating the center of the bracelet with two large stones and a small one in the center, on each side of the stones, I fixed the heart pendants.

And I have my set of accessories, earrings and bracelet made of denim fabric ready. I think that for my first time in this craft, I did not do badly. But it is necessary to know the techniques and have the necessary tools. Well, I am satisfied with the result.

Hoy quise realizar una travesura, que está rondando en mi cabeza desde hace días, pues veo encantada los hermosos trabajos que han realizados las compañeras que se dedican a la bisutería y la orfebrería, piezas muy delicadas y laboriosas. Yo en mi afán de aprender cosas nuevas, me atreví a realizar un conjunto de accesorios, usando tela de jean, pues son piezas sencillas, pero su elaboración, se me hizo algo difícil, pues no cuento con las herramientas idóneas para este oficio, pero logré el objetivo, que es lo importante. A continuación les contaré que materiales use y como fue el paso a paso.

Materiales

✓ Dijes en forma de corazón.
✓ Piedras de bisutería de dos tamaños y conectores.
✓ Pistola y barra de silicona
✓ Tijera, hilo y aguja.
✓ Broches a presión.
✓ Pinza de cejas.

Paso a paso

Lo primero que realicé, fue tomar la medida del tamaño de los broches de tapicería para cortar unos círculos de tela de jean, más grandes que los broches para luego cubrirlos, usando hilo y aguja. Corte y pegue, otros círculos de tela para cubrir la parte posterior de las piezas forradas.

A continuación procedo a unir, un broche de jean pequeño con uno grande, esto lo hice usando una piedra de bisutería de color dorado, como un conector. Luego decore con piedras el centro de la pieza grande del jean.

Usando una pinza de cejas, abrí el aro de un dije de corazón y lo coloque en la argolla del broche a presión. Luego pegue con silicona caliente el broche sobre el borde de la pieza de jean pequeño.

Así realice un par de aretes sencillos, casuales pero muy bonitos.

Ahora, es el momento de elaborar una pulsera para hacer juego con los aretes. Para ello uso la parte del pantalón de jean que tiene doble costura.

Corte un trozo de 19 centímetros de largo , adicional 1 centímetro a cada lado de la costura. Seguidamente pego con silicona caliente los centímetros de tela hacia adentro, formando una pieza uniforme.

Coloco en los extremos de tira de jean dos terminales tipo maleta de color dorado y culminó decorando el centro de la pulsera con dos piedras grandes y una pequeña en en el centro, a cada lado de las piedras, fijé los dije de corazón.

Y ya tengo listo mi conjunto de accesorios, aretes y pulsera hechos de tela de jean. Creo que para ser mi primera vez en este oficio, no me fue mal. Pero si es necesario conocer las técnicas y tener las herramientas necesarias. Bueno me siento satisfecha con el resultado.
