How many times do we have to go to the bank, to the doctor, to a public service office, to do some procedure that involves carrying or bringing receipts, invoices, bank books, etc.? And we end up throwing all these documents in our wallet and then we have to look for them in the middle of a mess. Today's project is a Diy Wallet Document Organizer where you can neatly locate all the above mentioned, as well as take care of them and dispose of them easily.
¿Cuántas veces nos toca ir al banca, al doctor, a alguna oficina de servicio público, a hacer algún trámite que conlleva a llevar o traer recibos, facturas, libretas bancarias, etc.? Y terminamos tirando en la cartera todos estos documentos para luego tener que buscarlos en medio de un desorden. El proyecto de hoy es un Diy Organizador de Documentos de Cartera donde poder ubicar ordenadamente todo lo mencionado anteriormente, además de cuidarlos y disponerlos fácilmente.
Sometimes we take a notebook with us to put everything randomly and when we need some document or receipt, we don't even know where we put it. Now with this project we can solve this situation and we can do it ourselves, with our own hands.
A veces nos llevamos una libreta para ir metiendo todo en forma aleatoria y cuando necesitamos algún documento o recibo, no sabemos ni donde lo pusimos. Ahora con este proyecto podemos resolver esta situación y lo hacemos nosotros mismos, con nuestras manos.

The half leather that will give shape to the Organizer I need it with the measures of 50cms by 25cms. Since I did not have a piece of that size, what I did was to join two pieces to form it.
El semicuero que dará forma a el Organizador lo necesito con las medidas de 50cms por 25cms. Dado que no disponía de una pieza de ese tamaño, lo que hice fue unir dos piezas para formarla.
With the same size of the semi-leather I cut the fabric that I will use for the lining.
Con esa misma medida del semicuero corto la tela que destinaré al forro.
I face right side to right side the semi leather and the lining fabric. I fix everything with the pressure clips and sew all around the edge with a straight seam, leaving a space of 20cms without sewing.
Enfrento derecho con derecho del semicuero y la tela de forro. Fijo todo con los clips de presión y coso por todo el borde con costura recta, dejando un espacio de 20cms sin coser.
I cut the corners to make it easier to turn the piece over. I also clean with the scissors the excess so that everything stays the same.📢📢 I cut the corners to make it easier for the piece to turn out well.
Corto las esquinas para facilitar que salgan bien al voltear la pieza. También limpio con la tijera los excedentes para que todo quede igual. 📢📢Menos el espacio que dejamos sin coser.
I establish well the shape that my Organizer is going to have, in order to determine the location of the clasp. The first clasp I place is on the outside and front. I place the clasp that contains the tip, putting it through the opening so that the tip comes out easily.
Establezco bien la forma que va a tener mi Organizador, para poder determinar la ubicación del broche. El primer broche que ubico es en la parte externa y frontal. Coloco el broche que contiene la punta, metiéndolo por la apertura para que salga la punta fácilmente hacia afuera.
I continue with the placement of the clasp now placing the other piece and closing it with the clasp pliers.
Continúo con la ubicación del broche ahora colocando la otra pieza y cerrando con el alicate de broches.
- I'm going to make the other piece that will carry the brooch, I'm going to make a strip of semi leather measuring 5cms by 2cms.
- I fold in half, sew and clean the corners.
- I turn the piece right side out.
- Voy a hacer la otra pieza que llevará el broche, voy a hacer una tira de semicuero que mida 5cms por 2cms.
- Doblo por la mitad, coso y limpio las esquinas.
- Volteo la pieza al derecho.
With the same procedure as above I place the brooch.

Now I place the small piece on the outside and on the back, and sew as shown in the infographic.
Ahora sí ubico la pequeña pieza por la parte externa y de atrás, y coso como señalo en la infografía.
- Fold the inner flap on the right side and sew around its outer edge.

- Doblo la solapa interna del lado derecho y coso alrededor de su borde externo.

- Por último decidí colocar una pieza que sería para colocar un bolígrafo.
- Corte un rectángulo en semicuero que mide 5cms por 2cm

I consider this to be another project that I call Utilitarian because it solves very well the organization and arrangement of those documents that are sometimes so important and that I often lose or misplace because I don't have them organized in a specific place. Additionally, the pen is also important because in this day and age it is better not to borrow this type of object that many people handle, so we have our own pen always available.
Considero que es otro proyecto de los que llamo Utilitario ya que resuelve muy bien la organización y disposición de esos documentos que a veces son tan importantes y que a menudo pierdo o traspapelo por no tenerlos ordenados en un lugar específico. Adicionalmente, el bolígrafo también es importante porque en esta época es mejor no pedir prestado este tipo de objeto que manipula mucha gente, así tenemos el de nosotros mismos siempre disponible.
