[EN-ES] How to make a miniature elf house? (Candy container and organizer)

Hello dear friend lover of crafts, today I bring you a new videotutorial, this time I show you how to make a little house with a fantastic theme, like for elves. It has a very colorful design and decorations with mushrooms that takes you to that world of myths and legends. As the base of the structure I used a plastic Nutella container, not for anything special, I just liked the shape it had and decided to use it in a craft before it ended up in the trash.

Not only is it a little house for decoration, but it can also be used to store candy or whatever you want, since I kept the lid part intact so it could be opened and closed. This gives it a more practical function. On the other hand, it can also be used as an organizer for school supplies, you just have to remove the lid. Hola querido amigo amante de las manualidades, el día de hoy traigo un nuevo video-tutorial, esta vez te enseño como hacer una casita con una temática un poco fantástica, como para duendes. Tiene un diseño bastante colorido y decoraciones con hongos que te lleva a ese mundo de mitos y leyendas. Como base de la estructura utilicé un recipiente de plástico de Nutella, no por nada en especial, solo que me gustó mucho la forma que tenía y decidí utilizarlo en una manualidad antes de que terminara en la basura.

No solo es una casita para adorno, sino también se puede utilizar para guardar caramelos o lo que quieras, pues mantuve intacta la parte de la tapa para que se pudiera abrir y cerrar. De esta forma le aporta una función más práctica. Por otro lado, se puede utilizar también como organizador para materiales escolares, solo debes quitar la tapa. Step by step // Paso a paso

The main material is a circular knob like this one I show you, it is the one that gives the shape and base of the house. The first thing to do is to remove the lid and mark its silhouette on a cardboard, if it is not so thick much better. Then cut it out.

El material principal es un pomo de forma circular como este que te muestro, es el que le aporta la forma y base de la casa. Lo primero que debes hacer es quitar la tapa y marcar su silueta en un cartón, si no es tan grueso mucho mejor. Luego recortar.

Cut a small triangle to the center and glue the edges to obtain this cone shape, which is glued on top of the lid (see video). Compress a disposable napkin into a ball and place it on top.

Cortar un triángulo pequeño hasta el centro y pegar los bordes para obtener esta forma de cono, el cual se pega en la parte superior de la tapa (ver video). Comprimir una servilleta desechable hasta obtener una bolita y colocarla encima.

With tweezers and wire, the handle will be made in the shape of a teapot. I used plasticine to give more volume to the wire.

Con una pinza y alambre se hará la agarradera, queda con la forma de una tetera. Utilicé plastilina para darle más volumen al alambre.

Paper everything with the exception of the thread of the lid, so that it can be opened and closed without problems. Allow to dry for several hours.

Empapelar todo con la excepción de la rosca de la tapa, así luego se podrá abrir y cerrar sin problemas. Dejar secar varias horas.

When it is dry it can be painted, I gave it a white base and then with the dry brush technique, a few light strokes with a light carmelite color.

Cuando ya esté seco se podrá pintar, le di una base blanca y luego con la técnica del pincel seco, unas leves pinceladas con un color carmelita claro.

With moldable foami, I made the door, to which I placed little black balls all around the edge as if it were a cobblestone. On one side of the upper part I placed a circular window and with green foami I made some bushes.

Con foami moldeable, elaboré la puerta, a la cual por todo el borde coloqué bolitas de color negro como si fuera un empedrado. A un lado de la parte superior coloqué una ventana circular y con foami verde hice unos arbustos.

To make it look more beautiful, I added some red mushrooms on the sides of the door and some smaller ones above the window. For the vine on the handle, I just took green foami and stretched it as much as I could without breaking it and then wrapped it around the handle. To decorate the lid I just made three leaves and placed them on it.

Para que se viera más hermosa, agregué unos hongos rojos a los costados de la puerta y unos más pequeños encima de la ventana. Para la enredadera de la agarradera, solo tomé foami verde y lo estiré lo más que pude sin que se rompiera para luego enrollarlo en el asa. Para adornar la tapa solo hice tres hojas y las situé en ella.

Only the final details are left, with a black marker I painted the edge of the mushrooms on the window, while to the red ones I painted some white dots with the tip of a brush. To the door I gave some white brush strokes with the brush almost dry to give it a nicer effect and with yellow paint I painted the inside of the window to make it look like light was coming out from inside.

Solo quedan los detalles finales, con un marcador negro pinté el borde de los hongos de la ventana, mientras que a los rojos le pinté unos puntos blancos con la punta de un pincel. A la puerta le di unos brochazos blancos con el pincel casi seco para que tuviera un efecto más bonito y con pintura amarilla pinté el interior de la ventana para que pareciera que salía luz de dentro.

This miniature house is ready, it looks like it was made by elves, right. I love this world of fantasy, myths and legends, and I don't miss films and series of this genre, because I imagine a world where other creatures live surrounded by colour and harmony.
