Hoy martes 21 de mayo del 2024, fue el segundo día del taller de Tradición + Medios = Mixto taller que nació por las participaciones en conjunto de macollacreativa y coleccióncafe, en La universidades católica Andrés Bello (UCAB) y me gustaría seguí compatir con ustedes esta nueva experiencia como estudiant de arte.
Today, Tuesday, May 21, 2024, was the second day of the Tradition + Media = Mixed workshop that was born from the joint participation of macollacreativa andcollectioncafe, at the Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB) and I would like to continue sharing this with you new experience as an art student.
El dia de hoy continuamos con las actividades de producción y didáctica artistica el cual dio inicio en la sala americana ubicada en la UCAB donde hablamos sobre la producción y reproducción artística, los criterios de desarrollo de las piezas artísticas haciendo énfasis a la instalación y otros conceptos filosófico y estéticos que componen la obra de un artista, luego discutimos un poco sobre las obras de distintos artistas contemporáneos como Mayer Vaismas el cual es un artista plástico de origen judío que nació en caracas en la década de los 80 y 90, con un estilo muy único para la reproducción artística.
Today we continue with the artistic production and teaching activities which began in the American room located at the UCAB where we talked about artistic production and reproduction, the development criteria of artistic pieces emphasizing installation and other concepts philosophical and aesthetic that make up the work of an artist, then we discussed a little about the works of different contemporary artists such as Mayer Vaismas, who is a plastic artist of Jewish origin who was born in Caracas in the decade of the 80s and 90s, with a style very unique for artistic reproduction.
Para la primera actividad del taller creamos texturas con objetos naturales, tomamos plastinila y con los materiales naturales(ramas, piedras,hojas secas etc), transferimos las texturas y las formas de los materiales a la plastinina para luego crear volúmenes con las distintas piezas. Una actividad la cual fue verdaderamente nueva para mi porque desde que ingrese a la universidad no había trabajado con plastinila y fue un poco difícil construir con este material🙃.
For the first activity of the workshop we create textures with natural objects, we take plasticine and with natural materials (branches, stones, dry leaves, etc.), we transfer the textures and shapes of the materials to the plasticine and then create volumes with the different pieces. An activity which was truly new for me because since I entered university I had not worked with plasticine and it was a little difficult to build with this material🙃.
Me gustó como se construyó la dinámica ya que era generar un volumen que soportara su propio pesó y ver u observar como se comportaba la pieza con el entorno o el espacio. Está fue mi pieza, se me hizo difícil contruirla ya que los elementos orgánicos que elegí eran demasiado pesados y no se aderian bien con los materiales pero al final pude fusionar los materiales y darle equilibrio a la pieza.
I liked how the dynamics were built since it was to generate a volume that supported its own weight and see or observe how the piece behaved with the environment or space. This was my piece, it was difficult for me to build it since the organic elements I chose were too heavy and did not fit well with the materials, but in the end I was able to merge the materials and give balance to the piece.
Luego de esa actividad nos dieron un receso de 30 mi minutos para poder almorzar y tomar un respiro, a lo que nuevamente aproveche y tome varias fotografías para indagar más sobre las características de la naturaleza📷📸.

Esta fue otra de las piezas que hice, y me gustó mucho porque es esperimento que realize para captar o más bien capturar el movimiento del papel, y en como esa captura afecta a la sobra del objeto mismas.

Luego del receso regresamos al espacio del taller y realizamos una actividad muy peculiar que se dividió en 3 partes, la primera parte consitio en crear una conexión con el objeto atraves de textos que escribimos, luego le dimos cuerpo a ese texto realizando una expresión artística atraves de materiales pictóricos y materiales de construcción artística, y este fue él resultado.
After the break we returned to the workshop space and carried out a very peculiar activity that was divided into 3 parts, the first part consisted of creating a connection with the object through texts that we wrote, then we gave body to that text by creating an artistic expression through of pictorial materials and artistic construction materials, and this was the result.
La según parte de la actividad consistió en componer y transformar esa expresión plastica en nuestro objeto atravez de figuras o contornos, como yo trabaje con la música y todo lo que me transmite la música y en como la interpreto, realize el contorno de mis audífonos los cuales son un objeto muy representativo para mi porqué los veo como la puerta que me ayuda a escapar en ciertos momentos de la realidad que nos atrapa y nos consume constantemente 😔. La tercera y última fase de la actividad fue construir una cuadrícula y dentro de cada cuadro integrar los contronos, desde mi punto de vista cada figura nos narraba una historia, la historia de la transformación del sér, como un ente fragmentado que se divide especialmente para presentarse como lo que somos, seres creativos y pensantes que vivimos en una búsqueda constante de la expresión del alma humana, esa es para mí la naturaleza del ser humano en el ámbito artístico y cultural.
The second part of the activity consisted of composing and transforming that plastic expression into our object through figures or contours, how I work with music and everything that music transmits to me and how I interpret it, I made the contour of my headphones. which are a very representative object for me because I see them as the door that helps me escape in certain moments from the reality that constantly traps us and consumes us 😔. The third and final phase of the activity was to build a grid and within each painting to integrate the contours, from my point of view each figure told us a story, the story of the transformation of being, as a fragmented entity that is divided especially to present ourselves as what we are, creative and thinking beings who live in a constant search for the expression of the human soul, that for me is the nature of the human being in the artistic and cultural field.
Y eso gente fue el final del taller de Tradición + Medios = mixtos de la sala Cronotopias en la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello con la participación de macollacreativa y coleccióncafe. Una experiencia que realmente nunca avía vivido en los años que tengo siendo estudiante de arte, y lo mejor es el aprendizaje que cada uno de nosotros se lleva de estas hermosas experiencias qué vivimos constantemente.
And that people was the end of the Tradition + Media = mixed workshop at the Cronotopias room at the Andrés Bello Catholic University with the participation of macollacreativa andcollectioncafe. An experience that I have never really experienced in the years that I have been an art student, and the best thing is the learning that each of us takes away from these beautiful experiences that we constantly live.
