En ese momento no era fácil conseguir productos de este tipo, por lo general se debían traer de otros países, así que eso me impulsó.

Inicialmente se confeccionan las pantuflas, no especificó los pasos porque es algo estándar, de hecho estoy segura que cualquier tutorial de YouTube que vean puede ayudarlos.

Para la confección de las pantuflas trabajo con tallas completas, lo que calzas exactamente en zapatos será la talla para las pantuflas, la suela es antirresbalante pueden usarse en piso liso o rústico ya que la suela protege tu pie
Lo primero que hago como siempre es dibujar en el papel las piezas del diseño.
Cada parte por separado de esta manera se obtiene el molde que nos ayudará a marcar las piezas en la tela.

El tamaño de la cara de stitch dependerá del tamaño de la capellada de la pantufla (parte superior que cubre el empeine del pie) en lo personal me gusta que cubra toda la capellada de tal manera que la pantufla luzca gorda 😍 esto es lo que marca la diferencia. Confecciono el personaje favorito de cada persona entonces debe ser grande, llamativo, bello y esponjoso jajajaja esa es mi premisa.
The size of the stitch face will depend on the size of the upper of the slipper (upper part that covers the instep of the foot). Personally I like it to cover the entire upper so that the slipper looks fat 😍 this is what makes the difference. Una vez marcada la forma de la cara y orejas se deben coser, puede ser a mano o a máquina., La carita quedará como un óvalo irregular por un lado hago una abertura con la tijera para voltear.

Luego en la abertura que hice con las tijeras a la base de la cara relleno bien, para que quede gordito. Lo fabuloso de trabajar con tela polar es que moldea muy bien y para este tipo de trabajo es imprescindible. Finalmente cierro la abertura con costura a mano.

Para los detalles corto un pedazo de tela gris que fijo con silicon al frío en la parte inferior o más ancha de la base de la cara. Con pelón que es un material duro cortó la figura del ojos y encima le coloco una figura igual pero en tela negra para que resalte.
For the details I cut a piece of gray fabric that I fix with cold silicon at the bottom or widest part of the base of the face. With a hard material called pelon I cut the figure of the eyes and on top of it I put the same figure but in black fabric to make it stand out.
Para finalizar con tela negra construyo la nariz, yo optó por tomar un círculo en tela negra colocarle un poco de relleno y con hilo y aguja coser, finalmente la fijo con silicón.
To finish with black fabric I build the nose, I chose to take a circle in black fabric put some stuffing and with thread and needle sew, finally I fix it with silicone.
Una vez que la carita está lista se coloca silicón suficiente y se fija sobre la capellada.
Once the face is ready, place enough silicone and fix it on the uppers.
