Saludos, gente linda de hive, espero se encuentren muy bien. El día de hoy les compartiré mi participación en el concurso de esta semana; ''Pedrería y bisutería'', donde realicé unos hermosos aretes con forma de paleta de pintor. Son sencillos de hacer, no requieren de mucho y son bastante únicos, así que sin más, comencemos.

Today I will share with you my participation in this week's contest: ''Rhinestones and costume jewelry'', where I made some beautiful earrings in the shape of a painter's palette. They are simple to make, don't require much and are quite unique, so without further ado, let's get started.

Proceso | Process
Paso 1 | Step 1
Lo primero que haremos será dibujar la silueta de la paleta en nuestra madera (preferiblemente en una esquina) y con el cuchillo, cortamos. Luego empezaremos a lijar y poco a poco iremos redondeando.
The first thing we will do is draw the silhouette of the palette in our wood (preferably in a corner) and with the knife, we cut. Then we will start sanding and little by little we will round it.
Para la pequeña abertura que lleva la paleta, doblaremos la lija (como se ve en la foto) y lijaremos. Ya cuando lleguemos a la forma deseada, pondremos la pieza sobre otro trozo de madera para marcar su contorno. Repetimos el mismo proceso que hicimos con la primera y nos deberán quedar dos piezas iguales.
For the small opening in the palette, we will bend the sandpaper (as shown in the photo) and sand it. When we reach the desired shape, we will put the piece on another piece of wood to mark its contour. We repeat the same process we did with the first one and we should have two equal pieces.

Lo siguiente será perforar las piezas para colocar nuestros anzuelos de bisutería. Para ello usaremos un clavo, lo ubicaremos muy bien donde lo queremos e iremos perforando suavemente (puedes ayudarte con un martillo).
The next step is to drill the pieces to place our bijouterie hooks. To do this we will use a nail, we will place it very well where we want it and we will drill gently (you can help you with a hammer).
Paso 3 | Step 3
Para su agujero tan característico, volveremos a perforar, pero esta vez el clavo deberá atravesar completamente y con cuchillo iremos agrandando un poco más.
For its characteristic hole, we will drill again, but this time the nail must go through completely and with a knife we will enlarge it a little more.
Paso 4 | Step 4
Ahora solo queda darle vida a la paleta. Empezaremos pintando con un marrón claro y dejaremos secar, ya cuando estén listas, pondremos pequeños puntos de pintura y mezclaremos un poco. Recomiendo usar una pintura pastosa, así le dará textura y se verá mucho más realista.
Now we just need to give life to the palette. Start painting with a light brown and let dry, and when they are ready, put small dots of paint and mix a little. I recommend using a pasty paint, so it will give texture and will look much more realistic.

Por último, pondremos nuestros anzuelos con ayuda de las pinzas.
Y listo.
Finally, we will set our hooks with the help of the pliers.
