Tenía hace un tiempo estás gorras guardadas en mi clóset y la verdad no las usaba por el logo que tenía donde trabaje hace tiempo. Las guarde por su lindo color Fushia, así que una tarde revise entre mis cosas de costura y vi unas lindas lentejuelas.

I had these hats in my closet a while ago and I didn't really wear them because of the logo I had where I worked some time ago. I kept them because of their nice Fushia color, so one afternoon I looked through my sewing stuff and saw some nice sequins.

Tuve la idea de bordar mis gorras con esas lentejuelas, tenía dos gorras y le había comentado a mi madre lo que pensaba hacer con esas gorras ya que una la elegí para mí y la otra se la regale a mi madre.

I had the idea to embroider my caps with those sequins, I had two caps and I had told my mother what I planned to do with those caps since one I chose for myself and the other one I gave to my mother as a gift.

Le pedí a mi madre que decidiera un modelo de figura para su gorra en mi caso elegí una mariposa y mi madre escogió un corazón.

I asked my mother to choose a pattern for her cap, in my case I chose a butterfly and my mother chose a heart.

Luego de elegir una figura de mariposa la dibuje en una hoja y recorte dicha figura para luego con una tiza marcarla en la gorra para tapar el logo.

After choosing a butterfly shape I drew it on a sheet of paper and cut it out and then with a chalk I marked it on the cap to cover the logo.

Mi madre escogio la figura la figura de corazón como ya les había comentado pero vamos a ver ambos procedimiento del bordado que le hicimos a nuestras gorras, a continuación:

Pasó 1 / Step 1:

Al tener un hilo insertado a la aguja pase a colocar todas las lentejuelas sueltas individualmente en un envase plástico. Las mostacillas las elegí transparentes para que solo resalte el color de las lentejuelas.

Once I had a thread inserted into the needle, I placed all the sequins individually in a plastic container. I chose transparent beads so that only the color of the sequins would stand out.

Pasó 2/ Step 2:

Comencé a bordar por todas las orillas de nuestra figura con lentejuelas de color dorado.
Primero coloque la lentejuela suelta encima de la línea dibujada y pase la aguja por dentro de la gorra y luego inserte una mostacillas para pasar de regreso por el mismo hueco la aguja para sellar nuestro primer punto de bordado.

I started embroidering all around the edges of our figure with gold-colored sequins.

First place the sequin loosely on top of the drawn line and pass the needle through the inside of the cap and then insert a bead to pass the needle back through the same hole to seal our first embroidery stitch.

Pasó 3/ Step 3:

Luego de terminar toda la orilla elegí lentejuelas medianas en color negro para las antenas de mi mariposa. Al ver lista está parte pase a dibujar unas líneas de diseño dentro de la mariposa y estos los borde con lentejuelas plateadas. Luego pase a bordar los espacios que quedaban dentro de la mariposa con lentejuelas en color rosa.

After finishing all the border I chose medium black sequins for the antennae of my butterfly. Once this part was ready, I drew some design lines inside the butterfly and bordered them with silver sequins. Then I embroidered the remaining spaces inside the butterfly with pink sequins.

• Se debe elegir la aguja más fina que tenga en su costurero, esto es para que no haga hueco en la tela con agujas grandes.

• You should choose the thinnest needle you have in your sewing box, this is so you don't poke holes in the fabric with large needles.

• Usted dirá "no puedo insertar el hilo con ese hueco tan chiquito de la aguja". No sé preocupe, para eso les mostrare que deben utilizar para que no tengan ningún problema.
  Muchos no saben la función de esto en los kit de agujas pero mediante imágenes les mostraré como es nuestro mejor ayudante el enhebrador en estos casos:

• You will say "I can't insert the thread with such a small hole in the needle". Don't worry, I will show you what to use so you won't have any problems.
  Many do not know the function of this in the needle kit but through images I will show you how it is our best helper the threader in these cases:

• Siempre debe de mantener la calma al momento de bordar es un trabajo de paciencia y muy relajante si lo ve de un punto de vista positivo. Se lo recomiendo para liberar el estrés y la vez aumentar esa creatividad que tienen escondidas.

• You should always keep calm when embroidering is a work of patience and very relaxing if you see it from a positive point of view. I recommend it to release stress and at the same time increase that creativity that you have hidden.

• Este trabajo de bordado me llevo alrededor de dos horas. Si no puede terminarlo ese día puede continuar en el momento que tenga disponible. La idea que que construyamos proyecto no dejarlos paralizados por tantas circunstancias de la vida.

• This embroidery work took me about two hours. If you can't finish it that day, you can continue whenever you have time available. The idea is that we build a project and not leave you paralyzed by so many life circumstances.

• Tenga una bebida natural como acompañante para ese momento es excelente para nuestro rendimiento.

• Have a natural drink as a companion for that moment is excellent for our performance.
