🇺🇸 A few days ago my mother wanted to turn a pair of pants into bermuda shorts, she cut them where she wanted them to go and there were two long pieces left. It occurred to me to reuse the fabric to make shoulder bags since the size and shape were perfect for this purpose, it is an extremely quick and easy project.

These are the materials I used:

• fabric from the bottom of a pants to reuse
• 20 x 12 cm of fabric for internal pocket
• 110 cm of rope or nylon cord for the Leash
• 4 cm velcro or contact closure
• Sewing machine or thread and needle so that things by hand.

I took both pieces and turned them into four pieces, four bandoliers came out. The first ones I used were the ones that already had the hem that the trouser boot brings. I placed it on the wrong side and sewed on the cut side; Zigzag first to prevent fraying and then straight to secure the seam.

The next thing is to make the internal pocket. I took the piece with the indicated measurement, fold in half, I sewed on the three sides with a straight seam, leaving an open space of approximately 4 cm to turn and that the seams will be inside, when turning that space is closed and sewn in a of the internal faces of the shoulder strap.

Next, the velcro or contact closure is sewn on both internal faces of the shoulder strap with a straight seam, ensuring that they remain in the same place so that they coincide and close correctly.

Finally, the nylon rope or strap is sewn on the inside with double straight stitching so that it is firm and ready, a shoulder bag made in 15 minutes!

It is very comfortable to put what you need, a phone fits perfectly, other things you use when going out and your pocket can store money and identity documents. I did two, and it was left to do two more.
