Decir que mi hijo Rafael de casi seis años lo hizo solo es mentira jejeje pero si lo hicimos juntos y pasamos un rato de diversión, porque en esta cuarentena radical que tenemos debido a que aun no me recupero del Covid mi hijo se cansa de estar haciendo siempre lo mismo, los días son muy rutinarios y los niños necesitan actividades diferentes que les permitan desarrollarse sanamente, porque el desarrollo no solo es físico sino también mental y estar aislados de la gente es algo que me preocupa, porque ningún niño debería estar tanto tiempo sin contacto con otros niños.
El día de hoy abrimos una nueva pasta dental y el con la caja en la mano me dice que le haga un camión, el siempre está un poco obsesionado con dibujar camiones todo el tiempo, yo le dije que no teníamos materiales para hacerlo, mi preocupación era que él había terminado su pega blanca hace unos días, no tengo pinturas al frio ni pistola de silicón en casa, en fin, yo sentí que no lo íbamos a poder lograr pero mi mamá siempre dice que soy una cartonera porque guardo muchas cosas, así que decidí buscar y encontré una pequeña barra de silicón, pintura acrílica para pared, una pintura al frio azul bastante vieja y un poco de pintura guache de color negro, entonces le dije a Rafael que con eso improvisaríamos.
To say that my son Rafael, who is almost six years old, did it alone is a lie, hehehe, but if we did it together and had some fun, because in this radical quarantine that we have because I have not yet recovered from Covid, my son gets tired of doing it always the same, days are very routine and children need different activities that allow them to develop healthily, because development is not only physical but also mental and being isolated from people is something that worries me, because no child should spend that long without contact with other children.
Today we open a new toothpaste and with the box in hand he tells me to make a truck for him, he is always a bit obsessed with drawing trucks all the time, I told him that we had no materials to do it, my concern It was that he had finished his white paste a few days ago, I do not have cold paints or silicone gun at home, well, I felt that we were not going to be able to achieve it but my mother always says that I am a cardboard manufacturer because I keep many things, So I decided to look and found a small stick of silicone, acrylic wall paint, a fairly old cold blue paint and some black gouache paint, so I told Rafael that we would improvise with that.
Paso a Paso / Step by Step
Lo primero que hicimos fue tomar la caja de pasta de dientes y cortar una parte para colocarla encima, es decir esta segunda parte sería como la cabina del camión, entonces con cartón de una caja de pastillas medimos las partes que quedaban descubiertas y dibujamos tres tapas con unas pestañas para así cerrarla. De los cortes con el cúter me encargué yo, pero los corten con tijeras si los hizo Rafael, también le hicimos un corte a la parte de abajo para que fuera el cajón de atrás.
The first thing we did was take the toothpaste box and cut a part to place it on top, that is, this second part would be like the cab of the truck, then with cardboard from a pill box we measured the parts that were uncovered and drew three covers with some tabs to close it. I took care of the cuts with the cutter, but cut them with scissors if Rafael made them. We also cut the bottom part so that it would be the back drawer.
Luego de eso Rafael insistía en que el camión debía tener ventanas, así que le abrimos unos agujeros, con mucho cuidado y le colocamos un poco de papel celofán azul que yo tenía guardado, el problema fue que no pegó muy bien porque la barra de silicón calentada solo con un encendedor no resultó muy eficiente.
After that Rafael insisted that the truck should have windows, so we opened some holes, very carefully and put a little blue cellophane that I had saved, the problem was that it did not stick very well because the silicone bar heated only with a lighter was not very efficient.
Luego que se pegó, Rafael le aplicó una capa de pintura acrílica blanca, luego de eso esperamos que secara para aplicar la pintura al frio azul y el guache negro.
After it was glued, Rafael applied a layer of white acrylic paint, after that we waited for it to dry to apply the cold blue paint and the black gouache.
Para las ruedas no encontramos tapas, así que corté un frasco de de plástico para formar 4 ruedas, luego marcamos dichas circunferencias sobre un pedazo de anime y lijamos los bodes. Pintamos los animes con guache negro y combinamos un poco con el acrílico blanco para formar el gris de los rines. Esperamos que secara, introdujimos en anime dentro de los aros de plástico. Pintamos y cortados un palito de madera y los traspasamos por el cartón y luego por el centro de las ruedas. Por último cortamos un poco de foami gris y lo pegamos por el lado del frente de las ruedas.
For the wheels we did not find covers, so I cut a plastic jar to form 4 wheels, then we marked these circumferences on a piece of anime and sanded the edges. We painted the animes with black gouache and combined a little with the white acrylic to form the gray of the wheels. We hope it dried, we put the anime inside the plastic hoops. We paint and cut a wooden stick and pass them through the cardboard and then through the center of the wheels. Finally we cut some gray foam and glue it on the front side of the wheels.
Resultado / Result
Sé que no es el camión más bonito del mundo pero Rafael disfrutó mucho haciéndolo, con amor se puede hacer que hasta la falta de materiales no sea un problema, además estaba tan feliz de que sus muñecos tejidos de Spiderman y George pudieran montarse en el camión que duró toda la tarde jugando con ellos. Me gustaría invitar a @chacald.dcymt a este concurso, aunque sé que María Teresa es muy chiquita seguro encentrará la manera de hacer algo con ella porque es muy creativa.
I know it is not the most beautiful truck in the world but Rafael really enjoyed doing it, with love he can make even the lack of materials not a problem, he was also so happy that his Spiderman and George woven dolls could be mounted on the truck that lasted all afternoon playing with them.
