Fanart of 'BREWMASTER'

Taking the exams makes you feel very tired? In my case yes. Today it was my first mid-term exam and I left my exam sheet empty. I was sick I didn't even open my book for a minute and I went for the exam, so it was obvious that I'll leave the sheet empty but whatever happened to me makes me a little sad, and how can I forget it in the illness? The only thing that can treat me is sketching, and crafts.
So I turned on my laptop and other equipment for sketching and started making sketch.

I opened my sketching kit almost after a year, I stopped making sketches for some personal reason so I can say this sketch is also my comeback towards sketching.

This post is my entery for the Splinterlands Art Contest of this week.

Inspiration

I got my source from a card in Splinterlands "BREWMASTER ABRAXAS". Being honest I chossed this card because brewmaster was holding a drum and I got the idea how can I use this drum. And the second reason behing chosing this card is that I found it easy.

Material

I used 4B, 6B, and 8B graphite pencil for shading and 2H, and 4H pencil for making outline. And small and medium size blenders for blending the shades.
A rubber and laptop was 2 things that helped my alot but not going to mention them🤣

Procedure

I started the sketch with making outline that confused me a little because I was always weak at making outline. As always I was not able to draw hand so I let the hand untouched and thought to draw it at the last.

I started shading from the head part because that part needs a little more attention and at start we mostly have energy for making small details.

After shading the upper side of head I moved towards the neck. It was bit confusing for me to chose the light shades because the reference image I had was bit blury so I decided to give some shades according to my own experience.

After completing neck I moved towards the dress the shirt had little details in it but I changed the details and just coloured the shirt in dark color as I wants the bottom part to look lighter than the upper part.

I remeber I took two different images of shirts shadding and bottom shading but I think I lost one.

.
Before moving towards the drum I completed the shading of both arms that was so easy but still some tinny details were necessary. So I made the details but still the hand was untouched.

After body I moved towards the drum and shaded it with drak black and brown pencil color. But after using brown color in drum I thought I made the biggest mistake but i was not able to change it at that point, so I let the brown color ruin my sketch.

Now comes the final and most awaiting part, the mandal art, from my very recent blog yo guys may findout that I'm learning mandala art so I used that art for shading the drum too. And for hand I shaded it too but as always it runied the final look of whole sketch.

This is all for today, see you guys again with some extra poitive energy, bye bye.
