Hola hola amigos creativos de HIVE DIY que la bendición de Dios los acompañe siempre, con el pasar de los años algunas cosas en nuestras casas se van desgastando y algunas pueden dañarse, en el caso de la mía, las cerraduras en las puertas de madera de las habitaciones, especificamente los pasadores que permiten mantener las puertas cerradas, he buscado insistentemente lugares donde vendan ese repuesto para cambiarlo y darle funcionamiento a mi antigua cerradura pero el repuesto por si solo no lo venden únicamente la cerradura completa que podría comprarla pero como me encanta crear y siempre estoy buscando que hacer hoy me desperté tratando de solventar este inconveniente😁, dando vueltas en mi cabeza encontré una solucion práctica, económica y fácil de hacer en muy pocos pasos. I invite you to join me and learn how to repair a doorknob lock pin.
- Cerradura de pomo(sin el pasador).
- Tornillo.
- Ram plug.
- Tuerca.

Al ser una práctica tan sencilla primero les explicaré como obtener el pasador improvisado que sustituirá al dañado, para esto tomé el tornillo y luego coloque en él una tuerca, cabe destacar que si no tienes una tuerca puedes utilizar una arandela metálica, la función de esta será crear un espacio entre la cabeza del tornillo y la tuerca o arandela (véase en la foto), esto con la finalidad de calzarlo en la pieza de la cerradura encargada de sujetar al pasador y al mismo tiempo darle movilidad para abrir y/o cerrar la puerta. Una vez Introducida la tuerca procedi a enroscar el tornillo en el ram plug con la ayuda del destornillador hasta tocar la tuerca. Posteriormente, probé el nuevo pasador improvisado, luego abri y cierre para ver si se mantiene sujeto a la cerradura.
Being such a simple practice first I will explain how to get the improvised pin that will replace the damaged one, for this I took the screw and then put a nut on it, note that if you do not have a nut you can use a metal washer, the function of this will create a space between the screw head and the nut or washer (see photo), this in order to wedge it into the part of the lock responsible for holding the pin and at the same time give mobility to open and / or close the door. Once the nut was inserted, I proceeded to screw the screw into the ram plug with the help of the screwdriver until it touched the nut. Subsequently, I tested the new improvised pin, then opening and closing it to see if it stays attached to the lock.
Una vez probado el pasador procedi a ensamblar la cerradura, primero introduje la cerradura en el orificio de la puerta, sin el pasador, luego fijé la parte exterior de la cerradura (la que contiene el cerrojo) a la puerta de madera para esto la atornille por medio de una lámina metalica circular(parte de la cerradura), es muy importante que hagamos esto dejando descubierta la pieza donde calzaremos el pasador, luego enrosque la tapa interior y a presión inserte el pomo en el cilindro, posteriormente calce el pasador y atornille la lámina metálica rectangular en la puerta y listo.
Once I tested the pin I proceeded to assemble the lock, first I inserted the lock into the hole in the door, without the pin, then I fixed the outer part of the lock (the one containing the bolt) to the wooden door for this I screwed it by means of a circular metal sheet (part of the lock), It is very important that we do this leaving uncovered the piece where we will fit the pin, then screw the inner cover and press the knob into the cylinder, then fit the pin and screw the rectangular metal sheet on the door and ready.
