Hola amigos, hoy vengo a participar en el concurso creativo de reciclaje #14 creado por la amiga @jennyzer, donde nos invita a tomar conciencia con el movimiento ambiental y a crear una manualidad con algún producto de reciclaje.
Yo elegí para mi manualidad, un tubo de cartón de baño, y lo transformé en un lindo auto.
Los materiales que utilicé fueron:
- Un tubo de cartón
- Un pedazo de papel blanco
- Temperas
- Pincel
- Cartulina
- Pega
- Silicón
- Tijeras
Hi friends, today I come to participate in the creative recycling contest #14 created by friend @jennyzer, where she invites us to become aware of the environmental movement and to create a craft with a recycled product.
I chose for my craft, a cardboard toilet tube, and I transformed it into a nice car.
The materials I used were:

Lo primero que hice fue dibujar un rectángulo en el tubo de cartón y luego dividirlo, lo recorté pero dejando la otra mitad doblada como se muestra en la foto.
Le eché una primera capa de pintura blanca, para que los demás colores quedaran uniformes.

The first thing I did was to draw a rectangle on the cardboard tube and then divide it, I cut it out but leaving the other half folded as shown in the picture.
I put a first coat of white paint on it, so that the other colors would be uniform.
En el pedazo de cartulina negra dibujé 4 círculos que serán las ruedas, con el pedazo de papel blanco dibujé 4 ruedas más pequeñas que irán dentro de los círculos negros.

Cuando la pintura blanca se secó, pinté todo el tubo de rojo.
Dibujé un símbolo de auto de carreras y recorté dos tiras blancas de papel para adornar el auto.
When the white paint was dry, I painted the whole tube red.
I drew a racing car symbol and cut out two white strips of paper to decorate the car.
Finalmente, utilicé el silicón para pegar todo en su sitio y listo!
De esta forma reciclé en forma de juguete un tubo de cartón.

Se dice que el cartón es el material más amigable con el medio ambiente, es 100% reciclable y biodegradable. El cartón se degrada totalmente en un plazo máximo de un año. Al ser básicamente celulosa, su tiempo de descomposición es escaso y si encima se encuentra expuesto a condiciones meteorológicas favorables, es decir, se encuentran en un ambiente húmedo, esta degradación se acelera más todavía.
Reciclar cartón nos permite ahorrar energía que puede ser empleada en la fabricación de otros recursos. Para su fabricación se necesita un 90% menos de agua y un 50% menos de electricidad. Y con el, podemos hacer creaciones de manualidades increíbles con muy pocos recursos, así como este lindo auto que les acabo de presentar.
