Good morning everyone,

This morning I wanna share with us my recent drawing. It's a drawing of Maya Angelou. She is a notable African American poet and civil right activist. Her story is a very inspiring one. At the age of 8years, she stopped talking because she thought her voice killed a man and she later found her voice at the age of 13. Rising to be one of the greatest writers. She has received lot of awards and over 50 honorary degrees. One of my favorite quotes of hers is "There is no greater agony than bearing and untold story inside you". Probably because I share same feelings with lot of untold stories. I hope I'm able to find my voice too and express the tales the best way I could. So today I want you to remember Maya Angelou, the mute who lost and found her voice.

This drawing was made on pelican paper using Bic ballpoint biro.
