Splinterlands Card Review: Marrow's Ghost.
Welcome back to my blog where I'll try to review a splinterlands card in every detailed way possible with gameplay with the card and this time I'm going to review the Marrow's Ghost.
Marrow's Ghost (COMMON Death Monster)
I was kinda looking for a cool card to review which I haven't used in any battle before then I've found this Ghost who was trying to wander around with an ax... to kill someone maybe? This ghost seems to be the soul of someone and it's chained so no matter how harmful this one looks, he can't do much and I got the proof after I sent him on the battlefield.
I've used this monster in level 1 on the battlefield with 1 melee attack, 2 speed, 2 shields & 1 health, and it needs 3 mana to join a battle.

Let me show one of my battle using this card.
A Brief Info About The Match
The battle mana cap was 30 with the "Standard" ruleset where I used the dragon splinter with the death team for the battle and my opponent used the death splinter against me.
After I used two melee monsters where one was at the front position and another one with the "Reach" ability at the second position, I've used the Marrow's Ghost at the third position and then I've used three ranged monsters. I chose that position for Marrow's Ghost cause I got confused on where to use it cause for the monster that I review, I normally try to let the monster live longer so that it can show what it can do and as this monster has so little health with a melee attack, I didn't risk using it at the front position as there's a vast chance that it will die with the first shot of the battle so I've used him back thinking he might use his "Void Armor" ability so that magic monsters of my opponent will be busy attacking its armor when my monsters will take the chance on attacking my opponent's monsters.
My Lineup.
I had my Undead Rexx in level 1, Manticore in level 1, Marrow's Ghost in level 1, Fire Spitter in level 1, Dark Ferryman in level 1 & Haunted Spider in level 1
And my opponent had his/her cards as Animated Corpse in level 1, Haunted Spirit in level 1, Dark Astronomer in level 1, Twisted Jester in level 1, Death Elemental in level 1 & Mantoid in level 1.
I've used six monsters where one was the Undead Rexx which is one of my favorite melee monster of death splinter, then I've used the one and only Manticore, then the Marrow's Ghost, then the Dark Ferryman which I used at the fourth position and at last I've used the Haunted Spider.
Let me talk about cards that I used in this battle.
No 01: UNDEAD REXX (COMMON Death Monster)
This is my second favorite melee monster of death splinter right now where Haunted Spirit is the first one. Although they are the best in their own ways/according to abilities. When I get a battle with a big mana cap and I decide to do the battle with the death splinter at that time this Undead Rexx comes to my mind at first and then others. This one has a big melee attack as 5 in level one with big health as 9.
My UNDEAD REXX is in level 1 with 5 melee attacks, 2 speed, 9 health, and this monster need 9 mana to play.

No 02: Manticore (Epic Dragon Monster)
Manticore is one of my favorite monsters in dragon splinter. I can't think of any other melee attacker with "Reach" ability than Manticore. when I play with dragon splinter.
My Manticore is in level 1 with 1 melee attack, 3 speed, 6 health with "Flying & Reach" ability and it needs 4 mana to play.

No 04: FIRE SPITTER (EPIC Dragon Monster)
This monster reminds me of a pokemon character for its visual. I'm kinda sure that there's a character just like this one in pokemon or there was one when I was a kid ;). This is a very helpful monster of dragon splinter.
I used my FIRE SPITTER is in level 1 with 2 ranged attacks, 4 speed, 4 health with "Flying" ability and it needs 4 mana to play.

No 05: Dark Ferryman (RARE Death Monster)
I was kinda looking for a cool card to review which I haven't used in any battle before then I've found this Ferryman who was wandering around the marketplace and it wanted to come to my collection and I was really amazed seeing its visual appearance. It looks like the devil itself is coming to get you through a boat. Then after I checked on it for a moment, I wished to see it on the battlefield so I bought it, and I did a battle where this ferryman helped me win.
I've used this monster in level 1 on the battlefield with 1 ranged attack, 2 speed & 5 health, and it needs 3 mana to join a battle.

No 06: HAUNTED SPIDER (COMMON Death Monster)
This is a spider but not a normal one. You should check on its nails, they're as sharp as blades made with steel. This is a very nice and helpful monster in death splinter. It's a great fit for the little mana rule too.
My HAUNTED SPIDER is in level 1 with 2 ranged attacks, 1 speed, 2 health and it needs 3 mana to play.

On the battlefield.
For the special buff of my opponent's summoner, my Undead Rexx lost 1 melee attack and I was lucky that I didn't have more melee monsters otherwise they might lose 1 melee attack each. Then for the special buff of my summoner, all my monsters got +1 shield each. Then my Fire Spitter, the most speed holder in both teams started the battle with its first attack on my opponent's Animated Corpse and killed 2 health out of 6 and right after that, my opponent's Death Elemental attacked and killed one health of my Fire Spitter out of four and following, Twisted Jester of my opponent also attacked my Fire Spitter right after that and destroyed its shield. Then my Manticore & Dark Ferryman attacked and killed 2 more health of the Animated Corpse of my opponent and now that monster was left with only 2 melee attacks. Then Mantoid of my opponent attacked my Fire Spitter and till now, only my Fire Spitter got all the hit from my team. Then my Undead Rexx attacked for the first time in the history of this battle and with its mighty melee attacks, it killed the Animated Corpse of my opponent even before that opponent monster got the chance of attacking for a single time. Then Haunted Spirit of opponent came to the first position and didn't get a chance to attack in the previous round as it's a melee attacker and was in the second position. As soon as it came to the front position, it lost 2 health out of 5 and my Fire Spitter made it happen although my Fire Spitter died right after that.
More destructions took place in the meantime. My opponent's Haunted Spirit took more hits until it had only 1 health but then it healed 2 health and attacked my Undead Rexx. Right after that, my Undead Rexx returned the favor big-time by killing the Haunted Spirit of my opponent with great pleasure. Then my opponent had only four monsters where only one was a magic monster and all others were ranged monsters. After my opponent killed my Fire Spitter, then they kept attacking my Dark Ferryman and at last, they killed him. My enemy lost another monster in the meantime. Then they killed one other monster from my team and my monsters were not enjoying the show only. They also kept attacking and successfully killed 2 more monsters of my opponent.
After my monsters killed the last magic monster of my opponent which left my opponent with only one ranged monster, that's the moment when I was so sure about my win although I could sense I'd win the battle long ago. Then my Undead Rexx attacked and killed the last monster of my opponent. My Marrow's Ghost for whom I'm writing this post didn't need to do anything nor did it die. My Undead Rexx did the best among all in this battle and I think I'm gonna need to review the Undead Rexx next.
The battle got finished in round 5 while my team still had three monsters alive. It was indeed a fantastic battle that my team fought.
