It’s raining butterflies:-)

The Cairns Birdwing butterfly is the largest of all Australian butterflies.
I saw this beauty at “Butterfly World”, photos are originals from my archives.

It was the day when I was supposed to go there without the kids and just have relaxing time there while my family took a walk at the park.

Well, as soon as I went inside it started to rain, and it was raining for about 15-20 minutes. All the butterflies were hiding who knows where.

I found a spot under the arch but there was a mist coming from above. So I guess this spot was for hot days, not for the rainy day. I still decided to wait there, mist wasn’t as heavy as the rain on that day. That’s when I noticed this beautiful butterfly hiding there from rain but covered with all this tiny drops from the mist. That first photo shows how it looked like.

When it stopped raining I decided to go to the start point and look at all the butterflies again, hoping that they would come out to show off their vivid colors and sure they did.

It was a really nice place for me to go and rest from everyday routine.

Thank you for visiting my blog!!!
