Hace unos dos años asistía todos los sábados a un club de tejidos en una mercería, allí también dictaban varios cursos, entre ellos, el de puntillismo (pintar haciendo pequeños puntitos). La profesora que dictaba ese curso, es una gran artista, admiro su trabajo. Siempre quise hacer el curso de puntillismo con ella pero coincidía con mis horas de tejido. Inclusive, compré los materiales para en algún momento hacer el curso, más no se dio, ya que no volví a la mercería y la profesora tampoco volvió, no logramos coincidir. Cada vez que iba a clases de tejido, admiraba esas clases de puntillismo.
Revisando mis materiales, me tropecé con la herramienta para pintar en puntillismo, me dije voy a revisar algún tutorial e intentar hacer pintar algo en esta técnica, así que comencé. Lo primero que sugieren, es practicar la técnica e ir avanzando en grandes proyectos, lo mismo que recomiendo cuando enseño a tejer. Aunque soy algo impaciente hice algunas practicas. Acá en la imagen pueden ver una pequeña muestra de mis practicas, aun falta mejorar.
Si observan, las dos imágenes inferiores, están mejor que las dos superiores, así va la práctica.
About two years ago I attended every Saturday to a knitting club in a haberdashery, there also dictated several courses, among them, the pointillism (painting by making small dots). The teacher who taught that course is a great artist, I admire her work. I always wanted to do the pointillism course with her but it coincided with my knitting hours. I even bought the materials to do the course at some point, but it didn't happen, since I didn't return to the haberdashery and the teacher didn't return either, we didn't manage to coincide. Every time I went to knitting classes, I admired those pointillism classes.
Going through my materials, I stumbled upon the tool to paint in pointillism, I said to myself I'm going to review some tutorial and try to paint something in this technique, so I started. The first thing they suggest, is to practice the technique and move on to bigger projects, the same thing I recommend when I teach knitting. Although I am a bit impatient I did some practice. Here in the image you can see a small sample of my practices, I still need to improve.
If you look at the two lower images, they are better than the two upper ones, that's how the practice is going.
Como es recomendable seguir practicando y quiero hacer algo más real, pintaré un mandala en la técnica puntillismo sobre CD que ya no funciona, el cual será mi marcalibros, lo maravilloso es que será un marcalibros resistente, fácil de ubicar y original en su diseño
Lo primero que hice fue pintar la superficie con un color oscuro, tuve que aplicar varias capas. Acá ocurrió un accidente, pintaba al lado de mi cama en un mal movimiento, se volteó la pintura, y cayó sobre la cama, manchando parte del edredón, el mega desastre, así que debo buscar un plástico, de tal forma no me vuelva a ocurrir.
As it is advisable to continue practicing and I want to do something more real, I will paint a mandala in the pointillism technique on CD that no longer works, which will be my bookmark, the wonderful thing is that it will be a resistant bookmark, easy to place and original in its design.
The first thing I did was to paint the surface with a dark color, I had to apply several layers. Here an accident happened, I was painting next to my bed in a bad move, the paint flipped, and fell on the bed, staining part of the comforter, the mega disaster, so I have to look for a plastic, so that it does not happen again.
Luego con esmalte de uñas y el marcador de puntos comencé a pintar, intercambiando el tamaño de la punta del marcador de puntos. Luego para dar brillo, hice puntitos en color blanco por todos lados, tratando de respetar el principio del puntillismo, hacer puntos en medio de dos puntos, lo más cerca que se puedan sin que se toquen entre ellos. Hubo parte en que no respeté el principio, seguiré practicando.
Finalmente, apliqué un barniz mate, con el objeto de proteger la pintura.
Then with nail polish and the dot marker I started to paint, interchanging the size of the tip of the dot marker. Then to give shine, I made white dots all over, trying to respect the principle of pointillism, making dots in the middle of two dots, as close as possible without touching each other. There were parts in which I did not respect the principle, I will continue practicing.
Finally, I applied a matte varnish, in order to protect the paint.
Me gustó el resultado, me gustó que se visualiza como un árbol, que tiene pasto en sus base principal, y en la superior el cielo con sus burbujeantes nubes, y el fruto es una hermosa estrella...Es lo que aprecio ¿Qué puedes apreciar?

Y este resultado del trabajo de hoy me ha dejado un maralibros, el cual llevaré en cada libro que lea, seguramente cuando lo vea me llevará a la calma, ya que en este estado de calma estuve mientras lo hacía.
