Hello Hive friends, I hope you are doing very well. With the latest rise that cryptocurrencies have had, the name of Elon Musk has made a lot of noise on social networks. Well known is its support for cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin. It is for this reason and because I like his avant-garde mentality that I have made a miniature replica of the car model launched by his company Tesla Motors. A vehicle designed to show strength on any terrain but beyond that I like the concept of its design. This model is made with soda cans and some wood for the wheels. Hope you like.
Hola amigos de Hive, espero que esten muy bien. Con la ultima subida que han tenido las criptomonedas el nombre de Elon Musk ha hecho bastante ruido en las redes sociales. Bien sabido es su apoyo a las criptomonedas especialmente Bitcoin. Es por ello y porque me gusta su mentalidad vanguardista que he realizado una réplica en miniatura del modelo de automovil lanzado por su empresa Tesla Motors. Un vehiculo pensado para demostrar fuerza en cualquier terreno pero mas allá de ello me gusta el concepto de su diseño. Este modelo esta hecho con latas de soda y algo de madera para las ruedas. Espero que les guste.
Process
The first step is to select the cans, I chose 4 and then I turned them into strips. I drew the car templates to make it more exact. Each of the parts including the wheels.
El primer paso es seleccionar las latas, yo elegí 4 y luego las convertí en tiras. Dibujé las plantillas del automovil para hacerlo más exacto. Cada una de las partes incluyento las ruedas.
We build the body of the car by cutting the part of both doors and the entire hood, the front and the rear. Then with a good quality glue we join the 3 parts.
Construimos la carrocería del automovil cortando la parte de ambas puertas y todo el capó, la parte delantera y trasera. Después con un pegamento de buena calidad unimos las 3 partes.
Then we continue to make the wheel fenders. We cut and fold and glue each corresponding part. We also manufacture the fenders, paint them black and put them in place fixed with glue. The front defense and the rear defense.
Luego continuamos haciendo los guardafangos de las ruedas. Cortamos y doblamos y pegamos con pegamento en cada parte correspondiente. Tambien fabricamos las defensas, las pintamos de color negro y las ponemos en su lugar fijadas con pegamento. La defensa delantera y la defensa trasera.
The next step is to make the wheels. I cut four pieces of wood of 2 centimeters and then with sandpaper I gave it a circular shape. Then cut the 4 wheel protectors and glue them to the wheels and covered with black paint. I did the same for the glasses that are in black.
El siguiente paso es hacer las ruedas. Yo corte cuatro pedazos de maderas de 2 centimetros y luego con una lija le fui dando forma circular. Despues corte los 4 protectores de las llantas y los peque a las ruedas y cubrí con pintura de color negro. Lo mismo hice para los vidrios que estan en color negro.
Finally we place the glasses with glue in the part that is indicated and then we make the chassis for the wheels. We use a can the size of the undersize of the body and on top of it we place two small hollow plastic tubes inside. Then through them we pass an iron wire that connects both wheels. Then we ended up joining the chassis to the body and we would have our Tesla Cybertruck made.
Finalmente colocamos los vidrios con pegamento en la parte que va señalada y despues hacemos el chasis para las ruedas. Utilizamos una lata del tamaño inferior del carrocería y encima de ella colocamos dos pequeños tubos de plasticos huecos por dentro. Luego a traves de ellos pasamos un alambre de hierro que conecte a ambas ruedas. Despues terminamos uniendo el chasis a la carrocería y tendríamos hecho nuestro Tesla Cybertruck.
Final Work
Well folks this was all my work. A beautiful specimen that has filled me with satisfaction. Soda cans, being a very malleable material, give you many opportunities to create, however it is something dangerous and you have to be very careful when cutting it and using the tools. Las latas de soda al ser un material muy maleable te brinda muchas oportunidades para crear, sin embargo es algo peligroso y hay que tener mucho cuidado al cortarlo y utilizar las herramientas.
