Tiene dos envases de vidrio conectados permitiendo un flujo regulado de material, normalmente arena fina, desde la parte superior a la parte inferior, hasta que quede vacío.
Hello friends of #hive and the # build-it community, today I want to share with you a great idea, how to make an hourglass. This is an instrument used to measure a certain period of time. It has two glass containers connected allowing a regulated flow of material, usually fine sand, from the top to the bottom, until it is empty.
Materiales:
- 2 bombillos.
- Pega.
- Clavos.
- Martillo.
- Madera.
- Arena fina.
Materials:
- 2 bulbs.
- Job.
- Nails.
- Hammer.
- Wood.
- Fine sand.
Procedimiento / Process:
- Primeramente quitarle a los bombillos los casquillos metálicos para sacarle los alambres de contacto.
First remove the metal caps from the bulbs to remove the contact wires.
- Agregas un poco de arena a un solo bombillo y con un poco de pegamento, pegas el casquillo. Haz lo mismo con el otro bombillo, pero sin echarle arena.
Add a little sand to a single bulb and with a little glue, glue the cap. Do the same with the other bulb, but without adding sand.
- Luego agarras los bombillos, le haces un orificio en el casquillo por donde va a pasar la arena, y los pegas, sin que se tape el orificio.
Then you take the light bulbs, you make a hole in the socket through which the sand will pass, and you glue them, without covering the hole.
- En una base de madera, pegas los bombillos por el cristal, luego le colocas las tablillitas que servirán como soporte.
On a wooden base, you glue the light bulbs through the glass, then you place the small boards that will serve as support.
Listo tienes un espectacular reloj de arena hecho con material reciclado.
