On cold or rainy nights we want to have a hot drink and have warm feet. Today I want to show you a useful and simple idea that will help you during those cold days, some nice slippers socks, they are very comfortable, useful and easy to do.
En las noches frías o lluviosas queremos tomar una bebida caliente y tener los pies calentitos. El día de hoy quiero mostrarles una idea útil y sencilla que los ayudará durante esos días fríos, unas linda pantuflas calcetines, son muy cómodas, útiles y fácil de hacer.

• Red fleece fabric.
• Elastic printed fabric.
• Red tulle.
•Needle and thread.
•Scissors.
•Cinta métrica.
•Lápiz.
•Hoja de papel.
•Tela polar roja.
•Tela estampada elástica.
•Tull rojo.
•Aguja e hilo.
•Tijera.
We start using the tape measure to measure the width and length of the feet; then we mark the outline of the feet on the sheet of paper. With the measurements we draw the pattern of the design of the half slippers.
Iniciamos utilizando la cinta métrica para tomar las medidas de ancho y largo de los pies; luego marcamos el contorno de los pies en la hoja de papel. Con las medidas trazamos el patrón del diseño de las medias pantuflas.
With the pattern ready we use the red fabric to cut the 2 templates of the stockings and with the printed fabric the 4 covers of the stockings. We sew the covers to the template on the edge of each side. Then we cut a strip of red tulle (we reserve to decorate) and a small rectangle of red fabric that we fold and sew at the upper end of the caps.
Con el patrón listo utilizamos la tela roja para cortar las 2 plantillas de las medias y con la tela estampada las 4 tapas de las medias. Cosemos por el borde de cada lado las tapas a la plantilla. Luego cortamos una tira de tull rojo ( reservamos para decorar) y un pequeño rectángulo de tela roja que doblamos y cosemos en el extremo superior de las tapas.
Then on the reverse side we make a vertical seam to join the two covers at the back, we continue making a horizontal seam from the top to the upper end, as shown in the figure; We turn the seam and with the tulle ribbon that we have reserved, we wrap a ribbon around the fingers, we knot and we make a pompom, shaping it with the scissors.
Luego por el reverso realizamos una costura vertical para juntar las dos tapas en la parte posterior, continuamos realizando una costura horizontal de la punta al extremo superior, tal como se observa en la figura; damos vuelta a la costura y con la cinta de tull que hemos reservado enrollamos en los dedos pasamos a través de ellos una cinta anudamos y realizamos un pompón, dando forma con la tijera.
We finish by fixing the pompom to the front of the sock slippers, that's how we are done.
Finalizamos fijando el pompón a la parte frontal de las pantuflas calcetines, así hemos terminado.
