Roof Construction on new "Chicken Shed" Bedsit room

Today i am helping Dave @mountainman to make a roof on a new bedroom being built at Atmanna.

We have re-used the existing foundation of an old chicken shed which we demolished about 2 months ago.

The construction is mostly hidden behind a copse of trees so will be more or less invisible from the little used road about 100 metres down the slope.

We are using some reclaimed materials from the old construction (note the oak bracing piece), and a pine tree trunk sits in the middle to support the roof and a mezzanine floor which will fill half the cabin loft-space.

The plan is to make a mini-kitchen & shower cubicle under the mezzanine, with a bed on top.

These are some pictures from inside the main house :-)

I'll post again as we progress in a few days, and will dig out a picture of the old chicken-shed.

Peace and love to all,
Atma
