Hola amigos de la costura, espero que estén muy bien el día de hoy :3 yo estuve trabajando en algunas cosas esta semana pero sobre todo estuve trabajando en esta falda de fiesta para mi amiga Lau, hace unas semanas compramos la tela, realice el molde, hicimos la prueba del molde y algunas compras más para saber cómo coser todo esto jajaja en si no es que sea mucho trabajo es que la tela es sumamente delicada, no saben los nervios que corrían en mí mientras daba cada puntada.

Antes de coser algo hice pruebas de tono de hilo, largo de puntada y tensión del hilo, también busqué la mejor forma de coser esto ya que en satén el hilo se puede correr y eso afecta a como se ve en la tela después, la mejor forma era coser en ziczac para unir y pisar la tela con una costura recta.
Before sewing something I did tests of thread tone, stitch length and thread tension, I also looked for the best way to sew this since in satin the thread can run and that affects how it looks on the fabric afterwards, the best way was to sew in ziczac to join and tread the fabric with a straight seam.

Para hacer esta falda utilice una aguja número 9, que es bastante fina pero igual hay que ser sumamente cuidadoso al coser, la falda cuenta con 3 tajos, que para achicar el margen de error fueron hechos con cinta de ruedo, esta cinta se plancha a la tela y al tener doble pegamento hace el ruedo automáticamente, esto me ahorro muchísimo trabajo realmente fue genial.
To make this skirt, use a number 9 needle, which is quite fine but you still have to be extremely careful when sewing, the skirt has 3 slits, which were made with hem tape to reduce the margin of error, this tape is ironed the fabric and having double glue makes the hem automatically, this saves me a lot of work, it was really great.

Cada tajo mide unos 71 cm de largo y tiene 1 cm de ancho, en total hice 6 ruedos, que fueron como hacer 4 metros de ruedo jajaja, por suerte esto no hubo que coserlo en lo más mínimo.
Each cut is about 71 cm long and 1 cm wide, in total I made 6 hems, which were like making 4 meters of hem hahaha, luckily this did not have to be sewn at all.
Primero uní el frente ya que estaba dividido en 3 partes, esto fue dentro de todo fácil.
Con el frente listo uní las vistas que son las cinturas y las cosí de la misma forma, primero zic zac luego una costura recta, además así cuando uniera los laterales la vista se quedaría quieta unida por el costado.
First I joined the front since it was divided into 3 parts, this was easy on the whole. With the front ready I joined the views that are the waists and sewed them in the same way, first zic zac then a straight seam, also that way when I joined the sides the view would stay still attached to the side.
Lo siguiente es unir el cierre trasero, esto me puso sumamente nerviosa jaja ya que el cierre es de otro tono debe quedar perfectamente cosido, cualquier error podría arruinar todo y hacer que sea más notorio todo, pero salió muy bien, es un cierre invisible y tiene sus particularidades para coserlo este es el segundo que hago.

También hicimos acomodes de la falda dándole más ajuste a la cadera y que así los tajos generen la visión de vuelo más amplio, sobre todo al caminar se va a ver muy bonito, para el ruedo también utilicé cinta de doble pegamento, amo esta cinta es mi nueva aliada :3.
We also made adjustments to the skirt giving it more adjustment to the hips and thus the slits generate the vision of wider flight, especially when walking it will look very nice, for the hem I also used double glue tape, I love this tape it is my new ally :3.
Este fue el resultado final de la falda, se ve muy bien y quedo a la perfección, yo cosí la mayoría la noche del martes pero la tarde del miércoles con algunas horas más hicimos los ajustes que fueron necesarios para que todo salga bien y ese fue el resultado.
This was the final result of the skirt, it looks great and it fits perfectly, I sewed most of it on Tuesday night but on Wednesday afternoon with a few more hours we made the adjustments that were necessary for everything to go well and that was the result.
La experiencia de hacer una falda de fiesta estuvo bien pero no es lo mío, en este caso no fue por el diseño sino por la tela, en este proyecto fue debut y despedida, creo que ir descartando que no me gusta tanto hacer me acerca más a lo que sí quiero hacer 🤔 jajaja o eso creo, pero ya lo descubriremos, hasta la próxima.
The experience of making a party skirt was good but it's not my thing, in this case it wasn't because of the design but because of the fabric, in this project it was debut and farewell, I think that discarding the fact that I don't like making it so much brings me closer to what I do want to do 🤔 lol or so I think, but we'll find out, until next time.
