Hello everyone, I am here once again, in this great community, to share with you a nice apron I made with a chemise type shirt that I no longer used, so I came up with the idea of transforming it into something useful, something I could use, let's see below the steps to follow.

  • Los materiales a utilizar son:
  • Una camisa que ya no uses.
  • Tijera.
  • Hilo de coser y aguja.
  • The materials to be used are:
  • A shirt you no longer wear.
  • Scissors.
  • Sewing thread and needle.

Paso 1.jpg

  • Step 1: First cut the back of the shirt, starting from the bottom and along the entire seam, removing the sleeves and collar.

Paso 1 (1).jpg

  • Step 2: Then we fold the shirt lengthwise and in half, and cut 5 cm from the sleeve part to the top, this to shape the apron, then proceed to sew all along the edge of the fabric, except at the bottom, as it has its seam is factory.

Paso 1 (2).jpg

  • Step 3: After we have sewn the entire edge of the fabric, we cut a strip, fold it, sew and flip it over, then sew it on the top of the apron at both ends, it should look like the last picture shows.

Paso 1 (3).jpg

  • Step 4: Then we cut 2 strips, fold and sew them and then turn them over, so that the seam is on the inside, then we sew them at both ends of the apron to be able to tie at the back, and not to leave it so simple, if you have at home a pocket of a bag that you no longer use you can place it in the front, as I did, this to make it look nicer, or you can leave it without the pocket, it's up to you.
