Good morning and happy easter in arrears to you all. This morning I will be sharing with you how I made a casual wear mixing a plain and a patterned material (cashmere and campout print) together and this dress can be worn on jean or pant trouser.

Let me take you through the steps of how I got it done.

MATERIALS USED

  • Fabric ( cashmere and shirt material camour print)
  • Air stay
  • Paper stay
  • Thread

MEASURING AND CUTTING PROCESS

In making a casual top, measurements to be taken are shoulder, chest, sleeve length, neck. After gotten all these then you proceed to cutting of the fabric.

The plain material was used as the body while the patterned material was used for the sleeves.

SEWING PROCESS

Firstly I folded the added inches to the length and sew, same was done to the sleeves too then I joined the shoulders i.e the front, back and back landing and I tapped the neck round.
