Happy Monday my fellow needlweworkers, its a privileged to be alive, healthy, creative and still been able to show some our our talents and beauty here.
Not everyone has the intelligence to work around these things and we do not mock them, we are just grateful to be on this better part.
I hope we all have woken up to a beautiful Monday and about our daily activities.

Most people believe that the best gift you can give a seamstress or tailor is fabrics and I can tell by the days that I get new fabrics almost all the time.
Aside this one, I still have some two new gifted African print fabrics from friends and family.

After clearing up my WIP to the a handful number I can deal with I decided to work on new projects.
But this time, there will not be slacking behind and any new project must be completed.

If the working gets too stressful I should be able be finish it on two visits, so I made the dress straight to this point, cutting, adding stay, sewing and zipper.

Today I made a church style dress design away from the mini skirt, dress and skimpy outfits I often make. I have more than enough fabrics and wants to be dress in what will make me feel like a pastors wife for the first time πŸ€“πŸ˜‚
Only that I don't have the hat or berret they usually wear to match with it.

Well its a virtuous way of dressing and I do hope that we are clean in our hearts as much as our dressings speak of us not letting the love and kindness we share with people end only in the church premises but also extending this to our society at large.

Making this was an easy task.
Using my measurements I cut out the flair for the lower part and made a pattern for the upper bodice

Not wanting any complicated design I added only the waist and bust darts and hence our dress is completed for now.

With this ready.
Am making a two step flair sleeve with it but then I need some ironing and the finishing touches of embellishments that will not be difficult to do.

The cover bottoms required that I visit the market as I don't have the machine but this should be ready before the weekend and ready for Sunday πŸ˜‚πŸ’πŸ’–πŸŒΊπŸŒΌπŸ’“πŸŒ»

I don't know how these will look but I hope that the cover bottom will add some light to it.

Thanks for reading and stopping by my blog.
