1.- Cut two rectangles to the size of the phone, adding a few cm of seam allowance. We will make two holes in these rectangles, this is where the base of the phone charger should fit.

2.- Cut a brown or beige piece to form the face of our motif, which in this case is a sleeping owl.

3.- We cut 4 pieces, two in pink fabric and two in printed fabric and on the edges we will make some small waves. To each piece we pass a little heat with the tinder to prevent the pieces from spinning. We also cut a rectangle, on this we glue the cut pieces, we start with a printed one, then a pink one, then we repeat and at the end we place the piece of the face. With this we form the body of our owl.

4.- We cut two white circles to form the eyes. On the circles we embroider with black thread some eyelashes.

5.- We take the two pink rectangles with the hole, we face them backwards, the holes must coincide, we also place the pieces of the owl's body and we are going to sew all around the edge or contour, leaving a space without sewing to introduce a little wadding and give strength or firmness to our cover.

6.- Close with stitching at the end with the wadding and glue the eyes on the face. I took some brown foami to simulate a beak which we also glued on the face.

As you can see a little bit of work, all done by hand, but a very nice result and that is what counts. I'm happy because now I have a place to put my phone when I'm charging it, with the confidence that if an accident happens in the kitchen, it won't be damaged and the wires won't bother me because they are loose.

I hope you liked this fabric craft and I encourage you to create in other motifs that are to your liking or in this one that is very cute.
