Hoy siento un gran placer de escribir por primera vez para #NeedleWorkMonday en el concurso N° 7 patrocinado por #OCD, Soy María Stella, aquí en mi país estamos en plena semana de cuarentena radical y debemos quedarnos en casa, lo he aprovechado al máximo para desarrollar este proyecto, me desempeño como maestra de primaria, eso les comenté en mi presentación y una apasionada por la enseñanza de los niños; me encanta celebrar las efemérides mensuales a lo largo del año escolar, pero las que más me gustan son las del mes de diciembre y el mes de mayo, las efemérides de diciembre por todas las actividades decembrinas que allí celebramos, como: las patinatas, la elaboración de galletas navideñas, elaboración de tarjetas para el árbol, el parrandón, el nacimiento viviente, entre otras. En el mes de mayo como maestra, resalto mucho el trabajo escolar, debido a que desde que era niña cuando estudiaba en la escuela primaria en mi pueblo Caripito, esperaba dos fechas muy importantes que se celebran en este mes, como es el día de las madres, porque las maestras nos mandaban a escribir poemas, canciones y a realizar tarjetas, preparar bailes para ofrecérselas a las madres, en esa celebración que hacia la escuela, ese aprendizaje que obtuve en la escuela aún lo aplico con mis estudiantes, pero con otras actividades.

Today I feel a great pleasure to write for the first time for #NeedleWorkMonday in the contest N ° 7 sponsored by #OCD, I am María Stella, here in my country we are in the middle of a week of radical quarantine and we must stay at home, I have made the most of it To develop this project, I work as a primary school teacher, that is what I commented to them in my presentation and I am passionate about teaching children; I love to celebrate the monthly ephemeris throughout the school year, but the ones I like the most are those of December and the month of May, the December ephemeris for all the December activities that we celebrate there, such as: skating, the elaboration of Christmas cookies, elaboration of cards for the tree, the parrandón, the living nativity, among others. In the month of May as a teacher, I highlight the school work a lot, because since I was a child when I studied in primary school in my town Caripito, I expected two very important dates that are celebrated this month, such as the day of the mothers, because the teachers sent us to write poems, songs and make cards, prepare dances to offer them to mothers, in that celebration that made the school, that learning that I obtained in school I still apply it with my students, but with other activities .
El otro día que esperaba con muchas ganas, era el día del árbol Nacional (El Araguaney), es un árbol precioso, que después de pasar verde todo el año, se le caen sus hojas y le comienzan a aparecer unas flores de color amarillo brillante, que luego van cayendo al suelo formando una gran alfombra del mismo color, los invito a que se lo imaginen. es uno de los símbolos naturales de nuestro País, su fiesta la celebramos junto con la coronación de la reina de la primavera, cuando niña siempre soñé ser la reina de la Primavera de mi escuela, nunca lo logré jajaja, pero no sufrí por eso; disfrutaba mucho ese día, porque la escuela se convertía en una feria, la adornaban con muchas flores y palmeras, en mesones se colocaba parte de nuestra gastronomía tradicional regional, para compartir: el famoso carato de mango, termos con papelón con limón. Turrón de coco, majarete, maíz sancochado, arroz con coco, otros, uhmm!! se me hace agua la boca. Actualmente como maestra también lo celebramos así, pero con otras variantes, por ejemplo, le cantamos el himno al Araguaney, sentados a su alrededor, el desfile de las flores (niñas vestidas de flor) sobre todo las que se dan aquí en Venezuela y lo más esperado por tooodos la coronación de la reina de la Primavera.

It is one of the natural symbols of our Country, we celebrate its party together with the coronation of the Spring Queen, when I was a child I always dreamed of being the Spring Queen of my school, I never succeeded hahaha, but I did not suffer for that; I really enjoyed that day, because the school became a fair, they decorated it with many flowers and palm trees, in tables part of our traditional regional gastronomy was placed, to share: the famous mango carato, thermos with lemon foil. Coconut nougat, majarete, parboiled corn, coconut rice, others, uhmm !! My mouth is watering. Currently as a teacher we also celebrate it like this, but with other variants, for example, we sing the hymn to Araguaney, sitting around him, the parade of flowers (girls dressed in flower) especially those that occur here in Venezuela and what most awaited by all the coronation of the Spring Queen.

MATERIALES:
Varios trozos de tela POP o tela quirúrgica de distintos colores (puede ser otra tela).
Una elástica de 10cms aproximadamente.
Hilo de coser.
Aguja de coser.
Silicón líquido.
Máquina de coser.
Tijera.
Lápiz y regla.
Alfileres
MATERIALS:

-Comencemos tomando una tira de 40 X 10cms la doblamos en tres partes y le pasamos una costura por el centro para que quede más fuerte, ya que será la base de la diadema.
-Por cada color de flor que queramos para la diadema, cortamos un cuadrado de 10 x 10cms para la flor grande y otro de 8 x 8cms para la pequeña.
-Tomamos el cuadrado grande lo doblamos a la mitad, luego el extremo izquierdo lo doblamos hasta el derecho, que quede un cuadrado, ahora unimos dos de estas puntas formando un triángulo, lo aseguramos con un alfiler marcamos el pétalo y cortamos, al abrirla, la flor queda de ocho pétalos, el cuadrado pequeño lo doblamos en 2 partes, marcamos el pétalo y cortamos, ésta flor quedará de 4 pétalos.
-Para los pistilos tomamos un trozo de tela del color que desees y cortamos tiritas de 4 cms, agarramos 6 de ellas y las aseguramos con la aguja e hilo en uno de los extremos, para que no se suelten, luego tomamos las flores, una sobre otra, los pistilos los colocamos en el centro y con la misma aguja los unimos a ellas y listo, hacemos este mismo paso con todas las flores.
-Procedemos a cortar las hojitas en pedacitos de tela POP de 4 o 5cms, los doblamos en dos partes y cortamos en forma arqueada, cortamos todas las que queramos para que nos quede bien linda.
-Posteriormente procedemos a coser la elástica en los extremos de la tira, con la máquina le pasamos al menos dos costuras para sujetarla muy bien.
-Con silicón líquido comenzamos a pegar las flores y las hojitas hasta cubrir toda la tira base, esperamos un ratito que el silicón seque y así hemos terminado la elaboración del cintillo o diadema para mi coronación, jajaja.

-We proceed to cut the leaves into pieces of POP fabric of 4 or 5 cm, we fold them into two parts and cut in an arched shape, we cut all the ones we want so that it looks nice.
-Afterwards we proceed to sew the elastic at the ends of the strip, with the machine we pass at least two seams to hold it very well.
-With liquid silicone we begin to glue the flowers and leaves until we cover the entire base strip, we wait a little while for the silicone to dry and thus we have finished the elaboration of the headband or headband for my coronation, hahaha.
De esta forma hemos realizado esta hermosísima diadema primaveral, como viste es de fácil elaboración, con materiales económicos y para realizarla no es necesario ser un experto en cuestión de esta naturaleza y te lleva poco tiempo. Este lindo, colorido y exótico accesorio te lo puedes colocar para un paseo, un día de campo, para ir a la playa o sencillamente si te quieres ver como una reina de las flores.
