Buscando siempre reutilizar la ropa que tenemos en casa y que de una u otra forma a veces no nos queremos desprender de ellas, esta semana me dedique a transformar un shorts que tenía hace mucho rato en casa pero que ya no me quedaba, créeme, fue triste reconocerlo.

Lo cierto del caso es que aprovechamos estos días para visitar la iglesia, el parque, irnos a desestresar a la playa, en esta ocasión iremos el sábado Dios mediante y yo busque un shorts que ya tiene un tiempo conmigo.
Y oh sorpresa, no me quedó... Es en serio? Mi shorts de blue jeans preferido
Me acordé por un momento de @lauramica cuando en el concurso pasado hablo sobre su Transformación, así que me puse manos a la obra o más bien, manos a las tijeras y heme aquí

En realidad es una triste historia, que ya la sabía pero oye: medirme ese shorts y darme cuenta que no me quedaba fue difícil asimilar
Pero necesitaba un short urgente y no iba a comprar otro, así que comencé descosiendo lo que en un momento había cosido y no me gustó el resultado, necesitaba tapar esa diferencia de colores.
Actually it's a sad story, I already knew it but hey: measuring that shorts and realizing it didn't fit me was difficult to assimilate.
But I needed a shorts urgently and I wasn't going to buy another one, so I started unpicking what I had sewn and I didn't like the result, I needed to cover the difference in colors.
En mi caja de costura siempre tengo algo acorde, conseguí este encaje y comencé con la transformación de mi shorts.
Medí y corté 2 piezas de encaje de 6 cm de ancho

I measured and cut 2 pieces of lace 6 cm wide.
Coloqué sobre el short, justo en la parte que quería disimular, fijé con alfileres para luego coser con la máquina
I placed on the shorts, just in the part I wanted to hide, pinned and then sewed with the machine.
Aprovechando mi momento de inspiración, me puse creativa y continue con esta transformación, adornando los bolsillos, usando mis bellas y utiles pinzitas, cosí a mano
