Good Monday everyone, dear fellow needle workers ❤️. I hope you had a great weekend to be able to start this day with all the energy. Here Laura talks to you with a scheduled post: while I write this I'm on a bus returning to my province from the north of my country and by the time this is published I will take almost 20 hours of travel and I will still have 3 more hours to get to me home 😂. BUT I do not like to miss work so somehow here I am with the project that I prepared to share with you before going out 😅❤️.
Buen lunes a todos, queridos compañeros trabajadores de las agujas ❤️. Espero que hayan tenido un gran fin de semana para poder empezar este día con toda la energía. Aquí les habla Laura con un post programado: mientras escribo esto estoy en un micro volviendo a mi provincia desde el norte de mi país y para cuándo esto se publique llevaré casi 20 horas de viaje y todavía me van a faltar 3 más para llegar a mi casa 😂. PERO no me gusta faltar al trabajo así que de algún modo aquí estoy con el proyecto que preparé para compartir con ustedes antes de salir de paseo 😅❤️.
This time I put aside those projects that I have cut for months to start something new. Mainly I wanted to sew another fabric design because I love black but after several similar outfits it already becomes somewhat monotonous. That's why I took my black and silver fabric and decided to make this simple but cute molded bustier ❤️.
Esta vez dejé de lado aquellos proyectos que tengo cortados hace meses para iniciar algo nuevo. Principalmente tenia ganas de coser otro diseño de tela porque el negro me encanta pero después de varios conjuntos parecidos ya se vuelve algo monótono. Es por eso que tomé mi tela negra y plateada y decidí hacer este corpiño de molde simple pero lindo ❤️.
I had seen the tutorial for this bodice several weeks ago but since I had the other projects unfinished I did not want to start something new without finishing what I had already started. But when I finally finished my black lace outfit I thought I deserved to start something new 💕. This mold is in two pieces where the cup and the back are joined and does not have a clamp, you can see how to draw the mold in this video 😃.
Había visto el tutorial de este corpiño hace varias semanas pero como tenía los otros proyectos inconclusos no quería comenzar algo nuevo sin terminar lo que ya había empezado. Pero cuando finalmente concluí mi conjunto de encaje negro pensé que ya me merecía empezar algo nuevo 💕. Esta moldería es de dos piezas en donde la copa y la espalda están unidas y no lleva pinza, pueden ver cómo trazar el molde en este video 😃.
To stretch the edges of this piece I chose the technique of supported elastic. For this I place the elastic on the fabric while I stretch it a little and sew it with a zigzag stitch. I like this technique because you can see all the full elastic on the front of the bodice ❤️.
Para elastizar los bordes de esta pieza elegí la técnica del elástico apoyado. Para esto coloco el elástico sobre la tela mientras lo estiro un poco y lo coso con puntada zigzag. Me gusta esta técnica porque se puede apreciar todo el elástico completo en el frente del corpiño ❤️.
The next step was to join the two pieces that make up the bodice. This mold should be joined using a straight stitch down the center of the neckline. Then what I did was set the seam to the side and sew with a zigzag stitch to get a neater finish 😃.
El paso siguiente fue unir las dos piezas que conforman el corpiño. Este molde debe unirse utilizando puntada recta por el centro del escote. Luego, lo que hice fue acomodar la costura hacia un lado y coser con puntada zigzag para obtener una terminación mas prolija 😃.
Once the two pieces are attached it is time to place the elastic under the bust. To sew this I used the same technique as to sew the previous elastic: I simply put and sewed it with the fabric with zigzag stitching. It is very important to stretch the elastic as we sew so that they do not break when we put the garment on.
Una vez que las dos piezas estan unidas es momento de colocar el elástico debajo del busto. Para coser esto utilicé la misma técnica que para coser el elástico anterior: simplemente lo apoyé y lo uni con la tela con costura zigzag. Es muy importante estirar el elástico a medida que realizamos la costura para que estas no se rompan al momento de ponernos la prenda.
To make the straps this time I used the same elastic as in the edges of the neckline and neckline. As this elastic has decorative spikes it is a nice detail for the straps of the bodice. Also, I used my beloved heart-shaped sliders. After so many straps made with these sliders, I already have it very clear as to not to put them backwards 😅.
Para hacer los breteles esta vez utilicé el mismo elástico que en los bordes de la siza y escote. Como este elástico tiene picos decorativos es un lindo detalle para las tiras del corpiño. Además, utilicé mis queridas correderas en forma de corazon. Luego de tantos breteles hechos con estas correderas, ya la tengo muy clara en cuando a no ponerlas al revés 😅.
And finally, this is what the finished bodice looks like ❤️. What I like is that it looks like a sports bra but being made of lace fabric it has an extra touch of elegance 🔥.
Y finalmente, asi luce el corpiño terminado ❤️. Lo que me gusta es que quedo como un corpiño deportivo pero al ser de tela de encaje tiene un toque extra de elegancia 🔥.
This mold was great in terms of the fit of the bodice. All the videos of that girl on Youtube are great, she inspires me a lot ❤️. Now I want to make one like that but in plain fabric for my teenage sister. The good thing about lingerie is that you can create a lot of designs from the same resources. When I return home I will get to work 😃.
Esta molderia fue genial en cuanto al calce del corpiño. Todos los videos de esa chica en Youtube son geniales, me inspira mucho ❤️. Ahora tengo ganas de hacer uno asi pero en tela lisa para mi hermana adolescente. Lo bueno de la lencería es que se pueden crear un montón de diseños a partir de los mismos recursos. Cuando vuelva a mi casa pondré manos a la obra 😃.
