In this part of the world we were having some very cold and rainy days, a climate that I don't particularly like, so it took me a lot to start the week and prepare a project to share with you. BUT today I took the energy and opportunity to prepare this publication to share with you. It is a brodice with straps at the neckline ❤️.

Por esta parte del mundo estuvimos teniendo unos días muy fríos y lluviosos, clima que particularmente no me gusta por lo que me costó bastante arrancar la semana y preparar un proyecto para compartir con ustedes. PERO hoy estuvo soleado así que aproveché para preparar esta publicación para compartir con ustedes. Se trata de un corpiño con tiras en el escote ❤️.
A few days ago, user @felixxx jokingly suggested that I would get better rewards if I modeled the underwear I make. Well friend, this photo is for you (suitable for all audiences) 😅. In a way, I also found it funny to show how the final result looks when the garment is being worn, since the details of the transparencies of the lace are better appreciated with the contrast of the skin (well, in this case of my yellow T-shirt) 😂.
Hace unos días, el usuario @felixxx sugirió a modo de broma que obtendría mejores recompensas si modelara las prendas de ropa interior que confecciono. Bueno amigo, esta foto es para ti (apta para todo publico) 😅. En cierto modo también me pareció gracioso mostrar como queda el resultado final cuando la prenda está siendo usada, ya que los detalles de las transparencias del encaje se aprecian mejor con el contraste de la piel (bueno, en este caso de mi remera amarilla) 😂.
To make this bodice you need 7 pieces in total. This bodice, like all the ones I make, is only made of fabric, no pre-assembled pieces.
Para hacer este corpiño se necesitan 7 piezas en total. Este corpiño, como todos los que hago, es solo de tela, nada de piezas pre-armadas.
The first thing to do is join the pieces of the cups with a zigzag stitch. This stitch is elastic and allows fabrics to continue to stretch after seams.
Lo primero que hay que hacer es unir las piezas de las tazas con puntada zig-zag. Esta puntada es elástica y permite que las telas puedan seguir estirándose luego de las costuras.
The structure for better fit I give it with the elastics. For this I add elastics at the neckline, stretching a little as I sew to form a very delicate gathering.
La estructura para mejor sujeción se la doy con los elásticos. Para esto añado elásticos en el escote, estirando un poco a medida que voy cosiendo para formar un frunce muy delicado.
Once we have the pieces ready, we join them with the cups and the waist piece of the bodice. What I also do is cover the seams by sewing an elastic over it. This makes the garment more neat and adds extra hold.
Una ve que tenemos las piezas listas, las unimos con las tazas y la pieza de la cintura del corpiño. Lo que también hago es tapar las costuras cosiendo un elástico por encima. Esto da más prolijidad a la prenda y añade retención extra.
To make the back pieces more neat, I add an elastic with decorative spikes. First you must sew on the front of each piece and then turn it inwards and give it a second seam.
Para hacer más prolijas las piezas de la espalda añado un elástico con picos decorativos. Primero se debe coser por el frente de cada pieza y luego voltearlo hacia el interior y darle una segunda costura.
Once we have the cups ready, we join them with the waist of the bodice. This extra piece of fabric adds a ruffle at the bottom, forming a top-style bodice.
Una vez que tenemos las tazas listas, las unimos con la cintura del corpiño. Esta pieza extra de tela añade un volado abajo, formando un corpiño estilo top.
To hook the straps we need to place some metal rings.
Para enganchar los breteles necesitamos colocar unas argollas metálicas.
And to add a distinctive detail to this garment, I decided to add additional elastics at the neckline. To do this I measured where I wanted the strips to be and joined with a straight stitch.
Then, I add the elastic called "underbust". It is the one that makes the main retention of the garment. It is a little stiffer than the rest of the elastics in the garment.
Y para añadir un detalle distintivo a esta prenda decidí colocar unos elásticos adicionales en el escote. Para hacer esto medí donde quería que quedaran las tiras y uní con puntada recta.
Luego, cosí el elástico llamado "bajo busto". Es el que hace la retención principal de la prenda. Es un poco más rígido que el resto de los elásticos que utilicé.
As the last step, it remains to sew a two-position clasp on the back and finish sewing the straps ❤️.
Como último paso resta coser un broche de dos posiciones en la espalda y terminar de coser los breteles ❤️.

I have a lot of this lace and accumulated a lot of raw materials for my underwear sets, but due to other responsibilities I'm still unable to transform them all into beautiful garments like these. But when I do, I make myself proud. I learned a lot in all this year, and I have to keep doing it to create more and more beautiful designs ❤️.
Tengo un montón de este encaje y acumulé muchísima materia prima para mis conjuntos de ropa interior, pero debido a otras responsabilidades aún no puedo transformarlos todos en hermosas prendas como estas. Pero cuando lo hago, me lleno de orgullo a mí misma. Aprendí bastante en todo este año, y tengo que seguir haciendolo para crear diseños cada vez más hermosos ❤️.
