Se acerca mi cumpleaños y normalmente acostumbro a realizarme un vestido o blusa para ese día, el día de hoy les mostrare como realice la prenda que usare ese día y además al final dejare mi opinión acerca de los patrones que usare para esta confección, me tiene muy contenta la confección de esta prenda, no sé si alguna vez lo haya dicho pero los cumpleaños son fechas importantes para mí, así que cuando se trata del mío me emociono muchísimo y si a eso le sumamos que a mí me encanta hacerme ropa pues la emoción se duplica.
My birthday is coming and I usually make a dress or blouse for that day, today I will show you how to make the garment that I will wear that day and also at the end I will leave my opinion about the patterns I will use for this garment, I am very happy to make this garment, I do not know if I have ever said it but birthdays are important dates for me, so when it is mine I get very excited and if we add to that that I love to make clothes for myself then the excitement is doubled.

- Tela para suéter o cualquier tela elástica de nuestra preferencia.
- Tijera de tela.
- Patrones (que en este caso los compre en el Centro Textil el Castillo)
- Hilo del color de la tela.
- Maquina de Coser.
- Sweater fabric or any elastic fabric of our preference.
- Fabric scissors.
- Patterns (which in this case I bought at Centro Textil el Castillo).
- Thread in the color of the fabric.
- Sewing machine.

El paquete de patrones que compre viene con la pieza delantera y espalda, manga, puños y fajón (el que va en la parte inferior), capucha y bolsillo, los patrones vienen con margen de costura y en todas las tallas. Corte cada una de las piezas las veces indicadas, excepto el bolsillo porque no quería que el vestido lo llevara.
The pattern package I bought comes with the front and back piece, sleeve, cuffs and sash (the one that goes on the bottom), hood and pocket, the patterns come with seam allowance and in all sizes. I cut each of the pieces as indicated, except for the pocket because I didn't want the dress to have it.
Uní el delantero y la espalda por los hombros y al mismo tiempo cerré las piezas de los puños.
I joined the front and back at the shoulders and at the same time closed the cuff pieces.
Hay a quienes les gusta coser las mangas teniendo la pieza principal cerrada por los costados, pero a mí me gusta más coser las mangas luego de hacer la costura de los hombros y así luego cierro por completo toda la pieza, de esta forma si a las mangas les cobra tela (que me ha pasado a veces) se puede corregir.
Some people like to sew the sleeves with the main piece closed on the sides, but I like to sew the sleeves after sewing the shoulder seam and then I close the whole piece completely, this way if the sleeves get some fabric on them (which has happened to me sometimes) it can be corrected.
Deje a un lado la pieza principal del vestido y me pase a la capucha, uní primero las piezas que la conforman por la parte curva y luego hice el dobladillo de la parte frontal guiándome de los piquetes que trae el patrón para este propósito.
I put aside the main piece of the dress and moved on to the hood, I first joined the pieces that make up the hood along the curved part and then I hemmed the front part of the dress, using the pattern's pins for this purpose.
Teniendo la capucha lista me pase a coserla al vestido, en la parte frontal hice que el dobladillo de la capucha se cruzara formando una especie de X.
Having the hood ready, I sewed it to the dress, in the front part I made the hem of the hood cross forming a kind of X.
Cerré la pretina y luego la cosí en la parte inferior del vestido estirando mientras lo hacía, posteriormente cosí los puños a la manga. Cabe destacar que a todas las costuras hechas es recomendable pasarle una costura en zigzag, pero justo ese día mis maquinas decidieron rebelarse 🤣🤣.
I closed the waistband and then sewed it to the bottom of the dress stretching as I did it, then I sewed the cuffs to the sleeve. It's worth mentioning that it's recommended to zigzag stitch all the seams, but that day my machines decided to rebel 🤣🤣.
