Crochet Tutorial #9 (Crochet Off Shoulder Croptop)

Hello crafters all over the world. Hope you're doing fine. I miss my post tutorial yesterday the needleworkmonday because I wasn't able to finish my crochet off shoulder croptop on time. So now I'll be sharing to you how to make this.

Materials

Fine cotton
2.5mm hook
1/8 inche garter
Scissor
(Needle and thread - for sewing the garter)

Pattern

BODY

  • chain 34 inches (you may adjust the measurement by getting the bust measurement + 10-15 inches enough for the ruffles effect)
  • Double crochet on the 4th chain, dc all and connect both ends by slip stitch.
  • Chain 2, and dc all over the stitch, and slip stitch.
  • Do it until 22 layers (or longer as you like).

  • On the 23rd layer single crochet all stitch by including the 1/8 inch garter. (Connect and sew both ends of the garter - 18inches garter

  • 24th layer - chain 4, dc-chain 1 every stitch, slip stitch, tie and cut the excess yarn

SLEEVE

  • chain 80, dc on 4th chain and connect the other end by slip stitch.
  • Dc until layer 7

  • Chain 7 and and connect to the body by single crochet and back on the 7 chains to the sleeve
  • insert the 7inches garter on top of the sleeves,then slip stitch

  • Chain 4,dc-chain on every stitch, tie and cut the yarn.

  • Do the same on the bottom part of the sleeve.

  • Single crochet on the top of the body including the 18inches garter

  • Chain 4, dc-chain on everh stitch. Secure the end by a knot and cut the excess yarn.

This crochet croptop I made is fit for a kid ages 9-12 years old with a petite body frame.
