Betty Boop Patch - Wow!

I have a millennial niece who is into patches for her jeans and Jean jackets. Apparently, patches are making a comeback. Of course, I am too old to know about popular trends in young people’s clothing.

My sister told me that her daughter wanted a Betty Boop patch. I have several embroidery designs for Betty Boop, so I thought that I would stitch one out to see how easy or difficult the design would be.

This particular design has a lot of jump stitches in it.

At first, I was clipping the jump stitches as I went along so that I did not have too many colors sewing over each other.

After a while, I left the machine unattended because my black color thread was going to take 12 minutes to stitch out.

When I got back, there were black jump stitches all over the place. I told my sister that my niece will have to stitch this out herself on my sister’s machine.

It is really cute, but it took too much of my time.

Enjoy your day.
