¿Qué les traigo hoy?
Antes que nada agradecer a la comunidad NeedleWorkMonday por esta gran iniciativa, cuando leí la invitación a este concurso me emocioné mucho, y de una vez mi mente se dispuso a pensar en qué tejer, pero tenía una limitante, no tenía Barbie, y aún cuando @crosheille me comentó que podía participar sin una Barbie, yo no quería. Le pregunto a mi mamá que si conoce a alguien que me pueda prestar una Barbie, mi madre me dijo que tenía una de mi sobrina, eso me puso muy feliz, lo cual aumentó mi imaginación, pensé en tejer desde un bosque, luego una playa, un cuarto de barbie con sus accesorios tejidos, pensé en miles de escenarios, mi sobrina cuando era niña hacía muchos escenarios con sus Barbies y esos momentos llegaron a mi memoria.
La emoción de tejer lo que quería se vio afectada, ya que estás dos últimas semanas he trabajado unas 14 horas diaria, lo cual me limita para tejer, y cada día que pasaba miraba mis hilos, y no me daba chance de tejer, eso me ponía triste porque no me daría chance tejer el mundo Barbie que mi mente imaginaba y compartirlo con uds. Me resigné y me dije este fin de semana aún cuando debo trabajar, trataré de tejer y poder compartir algo tejido para la Barbie, y he creado esta Mariposa en una combinación tierna y a la vez vibrante, espero les guste.
What do I bring you today?
First of all I want to thank the NeedleWorkMonday community for this great initiative, when I read the invitation to this contest I was very excited, and once my mind was ready to think about what to knit, but I had a limitation, I didn't have a Barbie, and even when @crosheille told me that I could participate without a Barbie, I didn't want to. I asked my mom if she knew anyone who could lend me a Barbie, my mom told me she had one from my niece, that made me very happy, which increased my imagination, I thought of knitting from a forest, then a beach, a barbie room with its knitted accessories, I thought of thousands of scenarios, my niece as a child made many scenarios with her Barbies and those moments came to my memory.
The emotion of knitting what I wanted was affected, since these last two weeks I have worked about 14 hours a day, which limited me to knit, and every day that passed I looked at my threads, and it did not give me a chance to knit, that made me sad because it would not give me a chance to knit the Barbie world that my mind imagined and share it with you. I resigned myself and told myself this weekend that even when I have to work, I will try to knit and share something woven for the Barbie, and I have created this Butterfly in a tender yet vibrant combination, I hope you like it.

Pasos
La falda
Lo primero que hice fue medir la cintura de la Barbie para hacer la falda. Luego tejí una cadeneta y comencé a tejer la falda.
Steps
The skirt
The first thing I did was measure the Barbie's waist to make the skirt. Then I knitted a chain and started to weave the skirt.
Continúe avanzando en la falda, iba midiendo a la Barbie. Me encantan las últimas vueltas de la falda.

La blusa del vestido
Luego de haber terminado la falda, pasé a tejer el vestido, para mí el reto del vestido, en especial porque que quería darle la forma en medio del busto, creo lo logré. Adicional quedó ceñido al cuerpo, era lo que también buscaba al tejer.
The blouse of the dress
After having finished the skirt, I went on to weave the dress, for me the challenge of the dress, especially because I wanted to shape it in the middle of the bust, I think I succeeded. In addition, it was tight to the body, which is what I was also looking for when knitting.

Esta parte del proceso incrementó mi emoción, al ver que si iba a poder terminar el atuendo de la Barbie. Procedí a ubicar las alas y luego a unir a la blusa del vestido en la parte trasera.

This part of the process increased my excitement, as I saw if I would be able to finish the Barbie outfit. I proceeded to place the wings and then attach the dress blouse to the back.

For the antennas I knitted a hat to support the antennas.
Luego de haber completado la secuencia correspondiente he llegado al final de este proyecto. NO ME LO PUEDO CREER, pude hacerlo, en medio de un mar de trabajo, estoy muy feliz de que puedan ver la Barbie vestida con mis creaciones. Estoy ansiosa de ver qué compartirán mis compañeras de la comunidad NeedleWorkMonday.
After having completed the corresponding sequence I have reached the end of this project. I CANNOT BELIEVE IT, I was able to do it, in the middle of a sea of work, I am very happy that you can see the Barbie dressed with my creations. I can't wait to see what my friends in the NeedleWorkMonday community will share.
