Saludos, hace pocos días recibí la visita de mi amigo y artista Carlos Luis Sánchez Becerra @majenye, el no me visitaba desde diciembre cuando vino de manera efímera a traerme unas hallacas veganas, porque ambos temíamos por el Covid. Llegó de manera sorpresiva a mi casa y por fin puede regalarle el amigurumi que había hecho con su figura y también el gorro que le hice con el tejido que se encontraba en el telar Navajo que él me dio.
Greetings, a few days ago I received a visit from my friend and artist Carlos Luis Sánchez Becerra @majenye, he had not visited me since December when he came to bring me some vegan Hallas, because we were both afraid of the Covid. He unexpectedly arrived at my house and can finally give him the amigurumi that he had made with his figure and also the hat that I made for him with the fabric that was on the Navajo loom that he gave me.
Hablamos un largo rato y me dijo que le mostrara mis trabajos tejidos que él quería comprar algo y quería ver, yo saqué todo lo que he tejido en este tiempo, tengo mucho debido a que siempre trato de al menos tejer algo a la semana y él se quedó enamorado de tres y me dijo que los quería. Vale la pena decir que me sentí muy feliz, porque no vendía ningún tejido desde octubre del año pasado, es decir hace casi 5 meses, esto se debe a la gran crisis económica de mi país, entiendo perfectamente que para un venezolano no es una prioridad adquirir un amigurumi, porque el precio de la comida cada día es más elevado por la hiperinflación y la devaluación de la moneda nacional frente al dólar. En el 2018 a pesar de las circunstancias vendí algunos amigurumis y siempre había una comisión por hacer finalizando el año, sin embargo desde la crisis eléctrica en 2019 todo se vino abajo y desde entonces vender uno de mis tejidos es algo poco común.

In 2018, despite the circumstances, I sold some amigurumis and there was always a commission to make at the end of the year, however since the electricity crisis in 2019 everything fell apart and since then selling one of my fabrics is something unusual.
Mi amigo Carlos los se llevó a amigurmi del Joker de Heath Ledger y a Joker de Joaquin Phoenix, también se llevó al payaso Pennywise de la película It en su primera versión. Yo estoy muy feliz con esta venta nos solo por el dinero que pueda representar sino porque sé que mi amigo cuidará muy bien de estos amigurumis que son como mis hijos. Después que él llegó a su casa me envió las siguientes fotos las cuales son de su propiedad obviamente:

Por otro lado estoy esperando que la cuarentena radical de la semana santa en mi país terminé para poder salir a comprar hilos y materiales para seguir tejiendo cosas con el dinero de esta venta y compartir lo que haga aquí en Hive, que se ha convertido en la fuente principal de ingresos en mi familia. Con toda la energía positiva del mundo espero que esta no sea la última venta del año porque esto me motiva a un nivel emocional importante.
On the other hand, I am waiting for the radical quarantine of Easter in my country to end so that I can go out to buy yarns and materials to continue knitting things with the money from this sale and share what I do here in Hive, which has become the main source of income in my family.
