Hace mucho que no escribo un post, porque estas últimas semanas no tejí. Pero como siempre entro a ver sus tejidos, entonces me inspiré un poco y decidí tejer algo para este verano, que en donde vivo es muy caluroso.

It's been a long time since I wrote a post, because I haven't been crocheting these last weeks. But as I always come in to see your works, then I got a bit inspired and decided to do something for this summer, which is very hot where I live.
Para hacerlo me inspiré en este video de youtube y usé aproximadamente 150 grs de hilo de algodón y un ganchillo de 4,5 mm.
I was inspired by this youtube video and I used approximately 150 grams of cotton yarn and a 4.5 mm crochet hook.
Monté 86 cadenetas y lo tejí en punto "cáscara de limón" hasta tener 24 cm
I do 86 chains and crocheted it in "lemon peel stitch" until I had 24 cm
Cuando lo medí, me di cuenta de que no era lo suficientemente elástico como quería e iba a ser incómodo ponerselo. Pero ya había tejido demasiado como para desarmarlo y comenzar de nuevo, así que decidí hacer ojales para no coserlo, sino ponerle un cordón.
When I measured it, I realised that it wasn't stretchy enough and it was going to be uncomfortable to wear. But I had already crocheted it too much to take it apart and start again, so I decided to make eyelets so that I didn't sew it on, but to put a cord on it.
Luego hice 6 cadenetas y tejí las tiras en el mismo punto
Then I made 6 chain and chochet the strips in the same stitch.
Cuando tenía las 3 piezas, me tocó coser las tiras
When I had the 3 parts, it was time to sew the strips together.
Y ya está casi listo. Solo falta hacer dos cordones de cadenetas, uno para colocarlo en la parte delantera haciendo un frunce y el otro para pasarlo por los ojales que hice en la espalda.
And it's almost ready. The only thing left to do is to make two cords of chains, one to place on the front to make a pleats and the other to pass through the eyelets I made on the back.
Aquí ya están colocados los cordones y veremos cómo quedan.

Como ven, en la parte delantera se lo puede colocar solo en la mitad o en todo el largo del top. Me gusta mucho cómo se ve en ambas formas.
As you can see, in the front you can place it in the middle or along the whole length of the top. I really like the way it looks in both ways.
