Como verán en la imagen principal, el dúo dinámico de la costura, elaboramos dos pantys talla grande y también hemos podido cambiar la pretina de la pieza modelo que estuvimos utilizando para guiarnos y elaborar piezas que les hemos venido presentando en publicaciones anteriores.
As you can see in the main image, the dynamic duo of sewing, we made two large size tights and we have also been able to change the waistband of the model piece that we have been using to guide us and make pieces that we have been presenting in previous publications.
Cuando vemos éstos remanentes de telas, nos ponemos a imaginar qué podemos hacer con ellos, y la verdad son muchas las ideas que nos vienen a la cabeza, en este caso le hice la propuesta a mi clienta para elaborar estas pantys, ella estuvo totalmente de acuerdo.
When we see these fabric remnants, we start to imagine what we can do with them, and the truth is that there are many ideas that come to mind, in this case I made the proposal to my client to make these tights, she agreed completely.
Como verán en cada una de las fotos, el procedimiento es totalmente fácil ya teniendo el patrón ajustado a las medidas de la persona. En ocasiones cuando trabajamos con retazos, quizás nos toque hacer un previo análisis de qué podemos hacer según la cantidad de tela.
As you will see in each of the photos, the procedure is totally easy, since the pattern is already adjusted to the measurements of the person. Sometimes when we work with scraps we may have to make a previous analysis of what we can do according to the amount of fabric.
Es posible que en algún momento nos toque hacer empates o piezas armadas con distintas telas para poder lograr los objetivos. En el caso de la panty con estampado, no me alcanzó la tela para hacer la parte delantera completa, por lo que decidí colocarles los pedazos faltantes con la tela de algodón vinotinto, también la utilicé para el entrepierna exterior para armonizar los colores y por el tema de comodidad al momento de usarse.
It is possible that at some point we may have to make ties or pieces assembled with different fabrics in order to achieve the objectives. In the case of the printed panty, I didn't have enough fabric to make the complete front part, so I decided to place the missing pieces with the vinotint cotton fabric, I also used it for the outer crotch to harmonize the colors and for the comfort at the moment of use.
En el caso de la panty vinotinto no hubo ningún problema, ya que tenía del retazo restante, suficiente para hacerla toda unicolor. Es importante destacar que en todas estas prendas íntimas, siempre será preferible utilizar para la entrepierna interior, tela blanca, es una recomendación que siempre me gusta resaltar.
In the case of the vinotint panty there was no problem, since I had enough of the remaining piece to make it all unicolor. It is important to note that in all these intimate garments, it will always be preferable to use white fabric for the inner crotch, it is a recommendation that I always like to highlight.
Mis piezas siempre la verán basteadas, pues ya lo he mencionado en otras ocasiones, me gusta facilitar el trabajo de costura en la máquina que realiza mi hija, termina siendo más rápido, práctico y seguro.
My pieces will always be basted, as I have already mentioned on other occasions, I like to facilitate the work of sewing on the machine that my daughter does, it ends up being faster, practical and safe.
Para la pretina de las blumas usamos elástica de 2 cm. Y para los bordes de las piernas usamos elastica de 1 cm. Siempre haciendo los ajustes que correspondan, según la técnica de su preferencia.
For the waistband of the blouses we use 2 cm elastic. And for the edges of the legs we use elastic of 1 cm. Always making the corresponding adjustments, according to the technique of your preference.
En el caso de la Braga, preferimos cambiar la pretina ya que la anterior era de tela muselina y está tiende a irse los hilos quedando un aspecto de gasa que resulta muy difícil de reparar. En vista de que había quedado un pedazo de tela como para hacerle una pretina en color negro de la tela de berbely, procedimos a hacer el cambio.
In the case of the panty, we preferred to change the waistband since the previous one was made of muslin fabric and it tends to pull away the threads leaving a gauze aspect that is very difficult to repair. Since there was a piece of fabric left to make a black berbely waistband, we proceeded to make the change.
Una vez más les dejo estas ideas precisamente para eliminar de casa esas bolsas que se convierten a veces en molestia porque ocupan mucho espacio en nuestro lugar de trabajo por no aprovechar en el momento justo de hacer piezas que sean de utilidad para el cliente y también para nuestro uso personal.
