En esta ocasión comparto una mariposa bordada en punto de cruz, que fue mi proyecto finalizado ayer.

This time I share a cross stitch embroidered butterfly, which was my project finished yesterday.
Aun no tengo definido para que la usaré, pero mientras tanto te cuento como la elaboré. No me tomó mucho tiempo, pero hubo algunas zonas complejas del bordado por la diversidad de los colores, por ello es preciso contar, en una ocasión tuve que deshilar.
Al iniciar el bordado no se observa la figura y hay que seguir hasta ver lo hermoso que se va creando.

Tijera y agujas.
Proceso:
Elegí el patrón, que será mi guía para bordar, elegí los colores de hilos que dispongo, y busqué la tela para cortarla a la medida necesaria. Este lo saqué de la revista n. 95 de Punto de Cruz, año 12. Te muestro el patrón que elegí.

Corté la tela con la siguiente medida 30 x 26 cm, busqué su mitad de alto y de ancho, para hacer un basteado (esto me permite centrar el bordado) y la coloqué en el tambor para fijar la tela.
I cut the fabric to the following size 30 x 26 cm, I looked for its half height and half width, to make a baste (this allows me to center the embroidery) and I placed it on the drum to fix the fabric.
Inicio el bordado por la parte de abajo del patrón elegido, contando los puntos necesarios para que la figura me quede centrada.

Bordando el siguiente paso, combinando colores, por las tardes busco el mejor lugar lleno de brisa y luz para deleitarme en mi trabajo. Ya finalizada la mariposa elaboro los detalles guiada por el patrón.
Embroidering the next step, combining colors, in the afternoons I look for the best place full of breeze and light to delight in my work. Once the butterfly is finished, I elaborate the details guided by the pattern.
