Procedimiento
Saqué primero un patrón, midiendo con mis tijeras y dejando espacio para las costuras.
Procedure
I first drew a pattern, measuring with my scissors and leaving room for the seams.
Este patrón lo trasferí a la tela de bordar roja, dejando espacios para la costura. Como no podía ver el límite para el bordado hilvane con hilo en todo alrededor.
I transferred this pattern to the red embroidery fabric, leaving spaces for the stitching. As I couldn't see the border for the embroidery I basted with thread all around.
Comencé por la parte superior mi bordado geométrico, que consiste en líneas básicamente.
I started at the top with my geometric embroidery, which basically consists of lines.
Luego coloqué un hilván en el medio del patrón para guiarme y centrar las puntadas del bordado.
I then placed a basting stitch in the middle of the pattern to guide me and center the embroidery stitches.
Con mucha paciencia y entusiasmo fui llenando toda la tela con el bordado
With a lot of patience and enthusiasm I filled all the fabric with the embroidery.
Luego retiré el hilo del medio.
I then removed the middle thread.
Ahora corté dos piezas iguales para el forro.
Now I cut two equal pieces for the lining.
Cosí estas piezas, y le di vuelta y las orillas las rematé con puntada escondida.
I sewed these pieces together, turned them over and finished the edges with a hidden stitch.
Con un poco de estambre tejí una cadeneta para colocar el botón.
With some worsted yarn I wove a chain stitch to attach the button
Pegué un botón grande en la parte del frente para cerrar.
I glued a large button on the front to close it.
Aquí te muestro el resultado de mi trabajo. Así la tijera puedo trasportarla de forma segura. Y mantenerla cuidada.
