Some lovely rayon yarn and a vintage "bathing suit" pattern helped me fashion a comfy pair of shorts for sleeping. They are done in stockinette stitch with seed stitch hems and a 2x2 ribbed waistband with eyelets for a drawstring.
There was not quite enough of the pink, so I did the ribbed waistband in a slightly heavier bamboo yarn. The waist drawstring is a crocheted chain with one strand of each yarn.
