Un saludo a todos los que hacen vida en la plataforma de HiveBlog 💙en el día de hoy mis queridos Hivers les traigo un paso a paso de un proyecto de costura bien fácil y sencillo, esta vez se trata de unas medias o calcetines tobilleras, el modelo que les muestro les digo para damas por el estampado de la tela pero en realidad se pueden elaborar para toda la familia solo necesitas tener las medidas de los pies y listo. En lo particular me encanta andar en casa con calcetines todo el día me hacen sentir muy cómoda, lo mas importante es que se utiliza muy poco material prácticamente dependiendo el tamaño las puedes elaborar con retazo de telas sobrantes de trabajos anteriores es decir que confeccionarlas en casa su costo es mucho mas económico que en el mercado.

Paso a paso / Step by step
Para comenzar con este sencillo proyecto de costura, lo primero que tenemos que hacer es tomar la medida de planta del pies de la persona a la cual se le va elaborar las medias, esta que realice son para mi, la medida que obtuve fue de 23 centímetros, sobre la tela con la ayuda de la cinta métrica vamos a elaborar 2 cuadrados de 23 x 23 centímetros tanto de largo como de ancho.

Ahora doblamos los cuadrado por la mitad, nos tomamos la medida con la cinta métrica desde la parte superior del pulgar hacia la parte de arriba del empeine en mi caso fueron 14 centímetros, vamos a trabajar en la tela por la parte del doblez marcando la medida tomada anteriormente, luego medimos 2 centímetros de ancho los cuales marcamos de allí a la parte restante del cuadrado.

Con las medidas que tomamos anteriormente trazamos sobre la tela y marcamos este pequeño rectángulo al cual le vamos a redondear uno de los extremos como se observa en la imagen, después recortamos, lo hacemos igual en ambas piezas. Esta es la abertura por donde introducimos los pies en las medias.

Seguidamente redondeamos 3 de las esquinas de las 2 piezas, para esto podemos utilizar cualquier objeto que tengamos en casa, luego recortamos por donde marcamos.

Con el molde de las medias terminados nos disponemos a coser, solo por todo el borde que redondeamos las esquinas, recuerden que una de las aberturas debe quedar sin coser que sera el orificio por donde introducimos los pies..

Como ultimo paso le colocamos una banda que realizamos con la misma tela ya que para esta medias no utilizamos elástica, podemos elaborarlo con la misma tela pero yo decidí combinar con tela unicolor, para esto tome la medida por todo borde de la abertura y corte una tira de 4 centímetros de ancho que al doblar me va quedar de 2 centímetros. Unimos en uno de los extremos para luego coser sobre la pieza tratando que la costura coincida con la de la parte de atrás de la media.
As a last step we put a band that we made with the same fabric since for this stocking we do not use elastic, we can make it with the same fabric but I decided to combine it with unicolor fabric, for this I took the measure around the edge of the opening and cut a strip of 4 centimeters wide that when folded will be 2 centimeters wide. Volteamos las piezas y listo así quedan nuestras medias tobilleras.

De esta manera culminamos este fácil y sencillo proyecto de costura como fue la elaboración de unas medias tobilleras para damas en tela de algodón, espero se animen a realizar esta prenda de vestir para toda la familia en especial para nuestros niños.
